Hey everyone, I am thinking of getting a 150 watt hps. I was just curious if it would be enough for 2 autos?
would a 150 watt hps be good for autos?

Get a 250w hps they take less watts a 150w hps draws like 350watts For 2 autos get 6 42w cfls
4 42w 2700k
2 6500k veg and flower with these around 1 ounce a plant

ok thanks, I have grown with CFLs before and just wanna get more yield. thats why I am askking about hps lighting.

full of purple dude wtf???? 250 watt light draws less watts than a 150 watt bulb? 250 watt literally means it uses 250 watts dont listen to this tool. 250 watts will be better than 150 but the other info was retarded

all yer info so far is retarded...get the hps...better yet get the 250/400 combo...(runs both), ....ANYONE WHOME SAYS that a 150 hps(i have 2) draws more than a 250 is clearly a tool...and fuk cfl, its only for ppl whome really ever had anything else to compare to(noobs),,,,more light is always better....

i agree a 250 would be better, a 250w draws 250w a 150w draws 150w its the spectrum your intrested in. hps has been a favorite of growers for a long time i only use cfl to veg but have seen some nice big hard nugs off cfl on the net

i am runnin a 150w with 2 autos right now and they love it. i also have a led tho too. but both are flowering right now. it all depends on the area your growing and if your going to have heat issues and other things. mind you a 250w would be better but if you got a tight space to grow in go with the 150 i got a 2x2x5.5 tent and use that and a 135w led. actual fraw on the led idk. if you have a bigger space go with the bigger light.

whats the siz you are planning on using? and you can always use the cfl for the lower growth and supp. lighting.

well my last grow I used CFLs and got just under an ounce per plant. I just wanna try getting a bigger yield with hps.

you will get more, i got one that been flowering for about a week now and one that just started to flower, i am considering gettign another for the tent then taking the led and use it for veg.

ok thank you. I just think by the time I buy all those cfls for lighting. I could just buy a 150watt hps. I would know that I would get better buds.

yeah at my local store my light was almost 100 bbut on amazon and stuff you can find them alot cheaper. i think th elowest i seen with free shipping was a lil over 70 so its not to bad.
