Worms in 15/20L no till pots question

I run 2 plants in 2 pots: one is 15L, other one is 20L. I used Plagron Batmix as my base soil mix inoculated with mycorrhizae. I use Torpf Blumat watering system to feed my plants plain water. I don't have any cover crop, though. and use pine wood chips as a mulch layer.
So, my question is: does it make sens to inhabit those pots with worms? Aren't they too small? If yes, how much worms per pot? And when should I start to feed them with organic matter?
Any other advises on my setup would be also appreciated. Thanks!

They still grow on what was in the mix with some foliar CalMag (4-0-0). I haven't gave them any food yet.
I never put worms in my pots, but, I use plenty of EWC in my build. I fine sift my castings but always end up with 10-20 worms at harvest. Pretty sure they came from eggs I miss when sifting. Also, watch the watering. Your worms will run away if the soil is too wet!!!

So, worms seem to be fine, making visible amount of castings around place where I put food for them.

Now I have a problem, that I have to move to different apartment for 4 months and have to leave my pots unattended.
And my question is how can I supply my worms with food while I am away? I have BluMat autowatering system to keep soil moist.
What is your experience and what you would recommend?

Thanks!
