Wondering if there is a need

I am thinking of starting up a security consulting business in Colorado. There have been many robberies/burglaries and other incidents with our dispensaries. I have over 15 years of experience in the security field and want to offer security consulting, video, transportation consulting etc. etc. Does anyone think there is a market for this service?

Thanks

i hope you've had plenty of security experience and education.

you can't expect 3 years as Loss Prevention at Ross to count as security experience.

to start a security company you need comissioned officers, not just joe shmoes off the street, you need insurance.

you gotta see what the laws about armed/unarmed officers are in your state.

remember you might have to provide these people with the training to handle a concealed weapon if they're armed. you'll also provide them with a gun...

you'll need to have a protocol for when one of the sites you're watching gets robbed, whether or not the security guard should get involved, who calls the cops, etc.......

good luck....

Electronic security is safer , more reliable and less expensive than a roving guard.

FUCK ADT, American Drinking Team couldn't find their ass with both hands. Ademco makes a far superior product.
