right now im witnessing an amazing natural event. ive been watching what this spider does with its pray, a moth caught in the spiders web. at first the moth was trying to get away until the spider came along and started pumping the moth with venom(i assume). the moth kept squirming for a good minute while the spider clung on to the moths underside, he started only flapping one wing and then lay still. the spider immediately started wrapping the moth in web, spinning the moth to get the thread around it intill it was all tied up, not fully in a cocoon and dragged its prey up next to another cocoon. its resting now. its amazing the kind of nature you can see by looking out (or in this case at) a window

Dude, I was witnessing the same kind of thing the other day!

I seriously dig nature like that, especially when your baked! Holy shit it's amazing! This crazy looking spider that I've never seen before, it looked a lot like a tiny crab or something, was wrapping this small moth up so quick! It was like a tiny machine, it looked completely effecient. Spiders have always interested me.

I have this spot outside my house with allkinds of different insect life wandering around. Wasps, these huge flying beatles, bees, jumping spiders, allkinds of different plant life. It's influenced me to look into investing in some kind of aquarium to put cool critters in! lol

Ya i also love natures design, its a trip.

One time i saw this big thing crawling around on the ground so i took a closer look. IT was a tiny black wasp that was about .5" long dragging a spider carcuss that was twice its size. IT dragged thing across my whole yard. I was bummed i missed this epic battle but i never new wasps fed on on spiders, its a trip.

that would be a great battle to see!

i looked away for a while and now the moth is all cocooned up and the spider is just chilling on the web

on the flip side of this observation, ive seen a bird fly up to my window and eat a spider right out of the web! it was almost as good as watching the moth get tied up
