heres the deal JNup is supplying SEEDS FOR THIS CONTEST and Im making it up. I've noticed that alot of newbies keep asking about "fimming" and its hard as hell to find anything out in good detail on the net. there are a few but they arent really descriptive enough for someone understand.contest will last till there at least 5 entries. so here's the deal:

The conteset is: THE MOST HELPFUL/DESRIPTIVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO FIM.

Rules:
1. you can use any pics/vids/or text of your own makeing.
2.any pics must have a rollitup sign in it, same for vids but they just need to show it in the begining.
3.any plain text will be researched threw the net to make sure it wasnt copied and pasted.
4.anyone posting negative comments or slams will be disqualified.

haha same here, i've never heard of this fimming.

its also known as "F%&* i missed" a guy was trying to top his plant and did it wrong resulting in as much as 8 tops instead of 2

what kind of seeds ???
did you say what kind

no id didnt. its a decent enough strain. JNup said they were potent enough and had good yield.

well i wish i knew more on this subject
because i sure like to win them seed
i am in need of new strains

thus the point of this hopfully people who have done this will be able to enlighten us. because i dont understand the FAQ on how to do it here on this site or on the green mans site. so i fig. this would be a good oportunity for people to learn as well as people to gain seeds. if you want you can try to find someone who has done this and ask them info on it and make an entry that way as long as you type it/take the pic/or self vid it.

I done it this year and came out with three nice cola just leave 1/4 of the top you are cutting off and there you hav it will grow three colas. But what i would like to try next year it to fim the three that come back then you would hav 12 colas. It's pretty easy good luck

ya see it sounds easy but when your looking at you plant trying to find out where exactly to do it you get pretty iffy on where to cut. and the diagram on the FAQ has 2 places do u cut both or what? this is why i decided this is the contest MOST DESCRIPTIVE in every aspect. the more explaining the better.

aww.. poor topic for me, I'd rather just tie her down.. but I want to stick around and see what takes the cake.

Topping a Plant

1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth. This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.

2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.

3. Shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming.

FIMMING A PLANT!

Fimming is actually no different that topping, what fimming does is virtually the exact same thing only your leaving part of the new growth. This only takes of part of the new growth and actually topping the very very new growth which is very hard to see.

What this ends up doing is making it seem as if your getting 4 new tops right next to eachother when its actually only 2 at the very top (like topping) but since it was cut so closely to the next newest set of fanleaves 2 branches which would have formed there anyways seems to make it look like there is 4 new tops.

This is how you go about doing this.

1. Locate the very top of the new growth

2. With a clean sterilized scissors, Fold the fan leafs over and cut approximately 80% of the new growth off the plant.

4. View of the Cut section after 2 days growth, showing the 4 new growth shoots (branches)




Thats IT!!!! you should be well on your way to Topping and Fimming of your plants.

and point? people need seeds he was bored i suggested doing a contest... you WERENT there when we were PMing and i asked what kind or how good they were! so ha!

lol lily came up wit it i just give the seeds. Seeds are just bagseed. I grow 4 plant at a time and whenever i not have a harvest i buy from my reg dealer and it always has seeds i usually just toss them in my woods but i thought let me share wit the world so this is me sharing
