Hey guys, I'm new here and to indoor growing. My plans are to try to grow two or three plants in my closet (5'x2.5'x8'tall). So I'm trying to figure out which light I want to go with. I know I can use 40 watt fluorescent bulbs which are more in my price range, but there's also this one http://www.1000bulbs.com/400-Watt-Metal-Halide-5-Tap-Ballast/, http://www.1000bulbs.com/400-Watt-Reduced-Envelope-BT28-Metal-halide/ . So would this work well for probably two small plants in my closet, without having to worry about heat, and a spike in the power bill? Thanks for any help.

Go with the bigger light you wont regret it. You can get a 400 watt hps/mh for 120 bucks. comes with hps bulb, can get mh bulb for it too.
