Hello, dear friends. I have a simple questions. Will this brand and type of carbon will do for my DYI filter?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EHEIM-250110-KARBON-2litres-Filter-Carbon-Aquarium-/191221777628?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item2c85b4c4dc

"Eheim EHFI Karbon Activated Carbon"

Or there is no difference what brand or type carbon i will use, as long as its activated carbon. Btw this type of carbon is more lightweighted than the granules thats why I prefer it. Thanks and please share your opinion.

It might, but it doesn't say anything about airflow allowed in cm2, so without specs on how big you need a filter and what size diameter, it would would be hard to say.

Hey guys. I will use the carbon for PC grow with a full tower case 65cm high. By the way will this fan do for my setup?

FAN -> Noctua 140mm NF-A14 iPPC-2000 PWM rated as follow:
Airflow -> 182,5 m³/h
Static Pressure -> 4,18 mm H2O
In my region this is the only Hight Static Pressure i can find. But I wanna be sure it will not move the air too fast or too slow and to be able to pull the air tru the carbon filter.
Will be upgrading my case to be good as TeriYaki build.
