Why becuase China just happens to own slightly more USA debt than Japan?

Slightly? I think it's more than that....I think we owe Japan like 2.2T, that's couch cushion money compared to China that and we keep printing fiat currency like it's monopoly money. That is never a bad thing..... [snicker]

That is correct. We don't have a debt problem here. The numbers are quite agreeable with good financial planning.

Why don't people understand? It is all lies.

All you have to do is dig. You spend a few years digging, it is worth it. Now you can have peace of mind.

Now you don't believe any of it. Now you see why they do it and it is all revealed as a very serious need.

Yeah, I don't think a collapse will ever happen, not the kind that creates apocalypse anyway or a world like "The Road" or anything. Most certainly the USA will be knocked from its top position though, most likely by China. Financially the USA will find it increasingly difficult to control until the big crack up boom comes. That's OK though, we have survived many of these desperate times before and we shall again, but the sun is setting on us as world power #1.

Well, we have pulled China's ass out more than once. And we may decline as a Power Broker, but they have our back and so does Russia. And we enforce that with Hell Fire from Space.

You know China just landed a rover on the moon? Bill Clinton's gamble paid off with the missile guidance deal.

We as a Nation have be very careful we don't fall apart. And 90% of the clear thinkers in this world, would never wish that for a moment. All the world needs us to succeed except the usual, shrill Anti-Cons for their own selfish and stupid reasons.

The Press is like a soap opera. Don't buy into the goofy lies.

Not China's first foray to the moon, just the first soft landing. Only the Soviets and the USA had been able to do that. This says a lot about their capabilities.

When I heard about the landing and rover on Saturday, I said to my wife, "well they are about 50 years late to the party".

I am off to buy some Chinese Renminbi, perhaps some Bank currency as well. China has wildcat banking, did you know that? The demand for Renminbi is so high that the banks are allowed to create their own currency and use it just like real RMB, but it's all off balance sheet. Just like the USA did in the early 1800's.

Of course the money will be misspent, but as long as demand increases (4 fold increase last year) China will be able to stay ahead of the curve. But for every 1% increase in RMB demand, there is a likewise DECREASE in demand for US Dollars. Current accounts don't like that one bit.

Well, I look at it like the space party is just starting and there have only been 3 players so far. Soon to be 4, if India can succeed.

Strategic thinking seems to be, to get all these space partners going on their own, including the boys in the Band, ESOC and Japan, Viet Nam and Iran.

I think a Moon Base is in our future.

But, only an international moon base, like the Space Station. That seems to be the human's strategy, with Treaties on Lunar resources, no ownership, the first Solar Humanity Park, etc.

We still have to keep an eye on each other. The moon is the strategic high ground, in our Solar System.
