Will lack of supplemental Co2 cause flowering plants to get sick and fall over?

Left flowering plants for a few days. They were in great shape. Indoor with window open, but covered for light. Large open building. Fans in the room. During the day plants would sleep (room probably 85 deg). At night outside 55 and in the room with lights on about 83.

The plants were healthy and not getting supplemental CO2. I get a story they fell over and were in bad shape because no supplemental CO2. I was told the plants were "burned" do to lack of Co2. All they need to do was water 2-3 times a day and make sure fans were running. In the space of about 3 days my healthy and incredibly green flowering plants were sick and falling over??

Lack of co2 will cause the plant to eat itself... the leaves will turn brown like a nute deficiency because that is kind of what it is...

Been there done that.

The deal was that I had been running these in flower for a month already with no CO 2 tanks running and they were very healthy.

I get that CO 2 does boost these babies. This "accident" happened within about a 3 day period.

If they're still alive I'd do a massive flush on the medium asap.
Then I'd go choke a bitch.

It sounds like they "accidentally" fed them with something bad, that is unless they're like bent over and broken.

Why are you watering 2-3 times a day?
I had been. I told them if they thought they were going to be away for any time. To build a quick and easy gravity DIY drip system just in case but still hand water. They have apparently recovered based on pictures.

overwatering more likely than co2 unless the room is sealed and full of plants with zero air exchange. Maybe they were watering with little care to how much nutrients were dosed. Maybe the pots are too small for the plants if you needed to water them 3 times a day. If that where the case then one missed watering and you have limp plants.
