Will I get rootbound?

Going to be finishing in a 2 gal pot with 2' vert space going to do some lst. My question is will I run into a rootbound problem?

iuse 4 gallon on my WW and on the last grow they rootbound so i supose it is gonna hapen again as i am using same 4 gallon pots, only thing i did diferent this time was transplant twice compared with once last time, will this make a diff, i will see

4-6 weeks if lst alows. I have 3 1/2 gal pots but they are 6 in higher then my 2 gal. So I been back and forth on it and wanted to get some helpful help.

No it's too little space......but I still would go with a bigger pot..........you know those rectangular type pots that are short but long would work good for your situation... ....or those small rubbermaid totes can be used like pots just cut some holes in the bottom....anything short and really wide will work doesn't have to be a traditional pot/I know you said thats what you have but if you want a decent yield you want to be able to veg a little longer and have a bigger root mass....with a 2 gallon you can't veg for 4-6 weeks and not have to worry about getting root bound which in turn will affect yield......and those cfl should be suffice for for a while.....what color spectrum are they??

yea i agree. being a good grower means thinking outside the box, being crative with your green thumb

I had thought about a rubber made box I have only thing that stopped me was wondering if the plant would fall over like a shalow rooted tree. I def will be useung my Rubbermade tub now thx think that saulves the problem. You guys rock.

Thx a ton guys now last thing its a 12 gal tub with 10 gal soil about think I can LST 2 plants in it?
I am guessing so.

I veg and flower my clones in 2 gal bags with no prob. LST may be different from my method, but I've never had an issue with it lolli-popping. Hell, I have gotten a massive bud from a 20oz dixie cup. (wish I had pics of that!)

Wow you really do loli pop.. I always wanted to lolipop however the dude who taught me was so against it, I can still hear his voice "Dont lolipop your plant will use up the nutes later"
