will extra air stones and bigger pump make up for higher rez temps?

i just started a dwc yesterday and this morning i noticed my temps in the room were about 78-79 which is pretty good (i had the thermostat a little higher) i checked my water temp and it was 73-74F which i've read is a little high and that 60F will have the biggest amount of dissolved oxygen... i did buy a pretty fancy pump that the guy at my hydro store said could run 8-10 buckets no problem an im currently only doing 4....

the bubbles are pretty intense and im wondering since the output of my pump is much more than the necessary will that make up a little for me having slightly higher rez temps since so many air bubbles are oxygenating the water every second? or should i definitely look into cooling??

where i live its about to get fucking freezing within the next month so i was thinking to keep the room slightly cooler (70F) and let the warmth of the light bump the heat a little bit up at canopy level while the rez is significantly cooler at the bottom... has anyone tried this?

thanks in advance for the help!

A larger pump might actually make your reservoir temperatures higher since the air being pumped in is heated by the pumping mechanisms.

Adding an EarthWorm Compost Tea will allow you to be safer at higher reservoir temperatures by keeping the bad bacteria/microbes at bay that grow more readily at higher reservoir temperatures.
