Bro I WISH...i would have used larger pvc pipe in the beginning and then gradually got smaller as I hit the rez. Right now the first pot is super high and it gets lower...I ended up not having problems cause my plants r huge....I'm not sure what u r asking...but I'd have my first pot at 2 and the one closest to the rez maybe 1/2 or so.... but my plant where the water level is highest is kinda smaller then the rest....maybe tomorrow i'll move the fan out the way but it's noticeably smaller....

Where is your supply line? Is that why you want to use smaller pipe to try and force the water level to be the same in all buckets?

IMO, if youre going to go with smaller piping id want bigger sites.
I have 1.5" between my totes and 2" on the ends of the rows and I wish I would have done the 2 everywhere.
Ive had roots clog 1.5" pipe on more than one occasion.
