Will BT Kill Snails? or Should I use Snail Bait???

I have a ton of snails in the area where I grow outside. I try to keep any chemicals out of my garden but I use products like BT and Neem to keep the bugs under control. My question is will BT kill the snails that eat my plant? or should I use a snail bait product? Anyone else have issues with snails or slugs? Any tips?

bt as in bacillius thirengsis? if so no it will not kill slugs.
