Hi, I am growing ourdoors and have 2 female plants about 3 moths old and 1 male plant, my question is; Will the male affect the 2 females or possibly change them into hermaphrodites even if the male is on the other side of the yard?

The principal effect will be pollination. I am unaware of any hormone shifts in response to the mere closeness of the other sex. In Cannabis, that is. cn

what does that mean it will pollinate them?
Male plants will produce pollen once mature. Cannabis is a wind-pollinator, so they produce much and strong pollen. When a pollen grain contacts a female's pistil, you have plant sex in all its shocking glory. The result? Seeds. Most growers who keep males do so for the express purpose of making those lovely little future-drug grenades. My opinion. cn

if you are trying to self pollinate to only certain parts of the female to get a few seeds IT IS POSSIBLE outdoors, you just have to be sure to get your pollen from the first few sacs that open, if to many open before you pull it then pollination to all of your females will be definite due to wind, insects, etc.

birds do it, bees do it, plants do it. they get all chummy and reproduce.

That is the typical outcome when you have a male and female. sooner or later they reproduce.

pollen makes you sneeze, so the male plant will only make the weed you get more likely to make you sneeze. it's nothing too serious or bad, most of the weed you smoke is like this. you can add some benadryl to your nutrient mix to ameliorate this.
