There is nothing illegal about anything you bought, if there was they couldnt sell it. You friend is just being paranoid. Police generally dont care about people with a couple plants under a CFL. It is not worth their time or the paperwork.


Of course if you are stupid they will have no choice, but I think you did the right thing.

Buying a CFL bulb and some soil isn't going to make you a prime target for a raid. Shopping at a hydroponics store isn't suspicious activity, and there's no way the LEO have enough time to investigate everyone who shops at a hydro store or gardening supply store even if it was. If the store is still in business, then obviously people are shopping there, right? Do you think ALL of those people are being raided, too? Highly unlikely.

It's not like you bought 100 x 1000W HPS lights and 10 tons of potting soil, yanno?

funny...if you leave the hydro store with a pallet of soil and a couple master cases of hps lights/bulbs for your house you might be a grower...lol. How on earth would they keep the doors open if every customer buying something was on a radar :wall::idea::weed:

when i went and bought my light and soil i was kinda noided, just cause i heard of the law watching places like that and they try to follow you home, i just tried not to be paranoid and at the same time make sure no one followed me home , never can be to carefull

You people need to think about this statement...I hear it all the time. If they are interested in you and following you home all they have to do is take you license plate and run it showing your home address.....So following you home isn't that important....

your right but i still look around the place before i even pull in there parking lot and when i leave i try to make sure theres no cars sitting around the area, the shop is kinda off a major road right off the highway so theres not many places they can watch and not be plain view, plus i dont ever go in my own car, always in my girlfriends car which isnt registered to my residence
