Widow Bomb by Bomb Seeds?

Hey guys! I was curious to see if anyone here has grown Widow Bomb or if anyones knew someone who had? I was thinking about growing some but need a little bit of info on it and some questions answered that I was wondering about.

- Do they have good germination rates?

- How strong is the smell? Could I grow 4 without it smelling dank as hell?

- Is it a good strain for SCROG or SOG?

- Would 4 plants have a pretty good yield under a 400w MH/HPS ballast in a closet grow? (how much if so? rough total is fine)

- Is there anything to be aware of growing this particular strain? (molds easily, doesn't take to nutes well, etc.)

If there's another bomb strain worth trying list those and add any answers to the above to those strains if you could, I've had my eye on bomb seeds for awhile and would like to know others experiences with them. Are their yields really as much as they say? By that I mean, are their yields pretty big within the restraints of your growing conditions?

I've seen LBH's SCROG growing method and I'd like to give it a shot, keeping the plant's as short as possible and still yielding quite a bit!

(This may not be the place to put this, but I'd appreciate the help!)

The closet I'm using is 4ft 6in X 2ft 1in X 3ft 6in (height is due to shelf which can be taken out, removed it'll be 6ft 7in) could I do a grow of Widow Bomb with LBH's SCROG method this way?

I have never grown Widow Bomb, but as I have said in several other threads, I am a big fan of Cherry Bomb. It also sounds like Cherry Bomb would fit the list requirements you have as well . She is short, easy to grow, very low odor, good yielder and frosty as hell. Not to mention deliciously stoney....

Absolutely beautiful Keizer! She looks great! Thanks for the post and the pic definitely got me wanting some cherry now! :weed:

i have grew the widow bomb, cherry bomb, berry . i like the berry bomb the best! its a sheer beast of a plant. grows 12-15foot tall and easy yeilds a pound. it was my #1 saler last year. the one thing i dont like about bomb seeds though is variation u get. in 2013 i had a berry bomb that was totally finished dlowering at 37.5n by 15th of sept. last year i had a berry bomb that didnt start flowering till end of august. the widow bomb in my climate was a mold magnet. i didnt get to finish flowering it out bc of the mold so had to chop it early but it was also gonna be a monster yeilder. i can say though that everthing i have grew so far from them will yeild very well and a potent smoke

Thanks for the input kygiacomo! I debated between either widow or berry, now it seems like I'll have to test out all of their strains haha they sound great! What's your climate like? Here it can go from dry and arid to rainy and humid in a blink of an eye, recently it's been humid and 80+ degrees due to summer and all the rain we've been getting.

It's not a huge problem though as my room stays a cool 60 and is dry. No humidity at all. With HID lamps would that be ideal for widow since they would warm the closet?

How was the smell with widow? I'm leaning towards cherry right now due to KeizerSoze saying it's low odor. How about berry?

It's good to know they yield like they say they will!

Haha glad to hear it! How far along is your THC? Any pics we could see of her if ya don't mind that is :) I've heard good things on THC, lemme know how she does!
My thc bombs are harvested and now curing, yesterday just started off another 10x for germing and yes..just like the shop seeds these DIY are just as difficult to germ ...lol

I actually just wrecked a coworker with the last remains of some THC bomb I've had jarred for like 5 months. Totally forgot it was stashed. He's used to toking weak stuff. Tossed him the last 1/4 O for some old snes games he had sitting in the garage since the 90s. You can't go wrong with it really. @vostok I think I remember you saying you were gonna run it. Did you run the autos too?

Very nice! How many did you harvest on that grow? Got a rough estimate for how much smoke you'll have once they're done curing? Haha hard to germ but well worth it I'm sure! bongsmilie Do the phenos vary like @Kygiacomo said or are the THC fairly stable and consistent?

Hahaha that's great! It's always fun to get someone stoned off their ass with the strong stuff :bigjoint: that sounds like a pretty sweet deal! 1/4 for some SNES games, I'd definitely do the same. When I looked into Bomb seeds, I tried finding reviews, grow journals, etc on a few, but came up short and saw 90% were on THC and saw nothing but good reviews on it.

Is she pretty smelly or is she low odor? My next few grows will have to be more on the low odor side so if she is It'll be between THC and Cherry. Got 2 others I'm looking at as well from Barney's Farm that looked and sounded stoney/tasty

This is my first THC Bomb auto grow, a pack of 5 seeds, £35.00 uk, and 3 germed, of the three germed I twisted (diy colloidal silver spray)a lower lateral and got male pollen just in god dam time!
but to be honest the seeds are shit and immature and tiny, of the smoke it was grand, my buddy thought it fantastic, but like many here I'm still suspicious of autos, and far prefer the photo for bud, but that may well have changed with this bomb ...lol I now gotta pick out the best and continue breeding this on!

Ahh so the autos have a decent germ rate sounds like, hope that's the same for the photos! Sweet, gonna get more bang for your buck and pollinate then? Good to hear! Glad she came through with some awesome green even though she was an auto  I'm the same way with autos like everyone else, they sound great but just don't compare to the real deal photos! I suppose maybe for quick smoke or a really small grow space on a super tight budget they'd be fine? My cousin recently gave our buddy an auto, he sent me a few pics and it looks to be doing good. He has it outside in his backyard, I'm surprised his dog hasn't torn it all to hell haha.

I'll definitely give one a try sometime just for hell of it though! Sounds to me like the THC auto would be the way to go if your getting ready to breed it! So for your other 10 are you doing autos again or photo?

autos is what I do waiting for the photos to finish, and am about to launch the last of my KC Brains mango and northern lights, 2 strains I've had bouncing around my freezer the last year or so, and I'll be breeding these on too, I am suspicious of THC Bomb by bomb seeds as they don't really say what bomb is made from, that gives room for caution , for that reason I'll keep them seeds apart from my normal stash ..good luck

Oh nice! Didn't even think about that, good idea  sounds good man! Hope they rain down bud for ya! I could see where that could cause caution, it says big bomb x hybrid I believe? Or just the bomb in general as well too.. good luck to you as well! Happy farming!

im at 37.5n in south east usa. from around june thur end of sept my humidity stays 90-100% but a little greencure, regalia and chitosan on the prevention plan and i can grow a good amount of strains. the month of may was dry as hell here for me. we are finally starting to get some rain now thank god! i was working my balls off carrying water lol yea im gonna try their kush bomb, hash bomb and Ice bomb. the hash and Ice from what i have read has really good mold resistance so thats exactly what i need being a guerilla grower. there is one thing i can count on with bomb for sure and that is a monster yeild. in 2013 the berry bomb was so beautiful i hated to cut it down lol it was the most lime green with dark orange hairs in it with buds all over it. even the side branchs was heavy yeilding buds, they was just a bit bigger then golf balls and very dense

I have grown most of the Bomb Seeds range and most are keepers. Bomb seeds are good value for money and i have had about a 95% germination rate with no hemies.
I currently have 2 Berry Bombs 1 Bomb WW and a Bomb Kush on the go. Like most WW she is a bit more sensitive to the nutrients so be gentle. The WW stays under a meter is a good yielder and smoke is top end. If i had to choose the best out of the Bomb Seed range it would be the Berry and the Kush they just keep on giving..
