Why use auto's?

Aside from everything else listed one of the perks is not having to have a lightproof growspace for flowering. So you can generally get started up with little costs and not much of a hassle.
If you wanna bang out a good yield in 90 days with autos.
1 buy a 600 watt HPS
2 Plop 4-6 autos in 3 gallon pots (depending on their finishing sizes)
3 LST those badboys throughout their entire veg cycle and 2 or so weeks into flowering. Every day counts in veg as does every potential node/budsite.
Then just keep em watered and fed until chop time.
If you're adding CO2 into the mix you can get some impressive little plants out of them.

But on my whole growspace comment.....
You can slap em in a spare bedroom, bathroom, closet or whatever.
There's several advantages. If you have to up and hide your plants for some BS reason? You don't have to worry about jacking up their light schedules.
You can get some bumper crops in to get some extra scratch to invest in a proper grow area if you're broke.

As far as guerrilla growing they're OK. Personally I have to start them either 4-6 weeks early. If I have plants in late flowering during June/July that mean they're sitting in 100 - 105 degree heat with 80% humidity all day. Budrot city on top of heat stress. April and May they're good to go though. They can finish in may with little to no problems.
what is a good nutrients brand to give them, i have heard over feeding them can be a thing since they are different? or do u even bother doing it since its such a short time to grow them just as long as you have good soil for them to grow?

Outdoor semi-automatics are making inroads in the wet, cold places where mold and rot are part of the fun. You can veg then with really long light cycles, but they will flower as soon as you set them outside. Getaway Mountain {in Maine} has some that he chops in August every year.

Since I said I would post it here, I have cut and dried the Auto-Gigabud, dry weight 115 grams. Smell is like ripe pineapple and sweet fruit. Taste is the same. Overall : Satisfied.

That last pic of your jar, are you trying to get artistic? I'm growing my first AutoFlower 5 weeks in and I have to say....they grow differently from photo period pot plants. My 5 week old auto plant is busting out with healthy new hairy growths, but so far, I'm waiting for each one to bulk up more.

It's heartening to see pics of autoflower buds that have some bulk! That's what I'm hoping for.

I grow auto's in the winter because it gets nice and cold in my basement and the 24/0 keeps my basement nice and comfortable. Come summer I run photos and my lights over night and that helps keep it from getting too hot as well.

I run autos mainly because my tent is not 100% light proof. Having 12hrs dark where the tent is a inconvenience. But 6hrs dark is simple to set for when I’m sleeping.

I run autos outside because where I am, by the time we have enough natural darkness to trigger flowering on a photo period plant. It’s snowing. Lol.

Love my autos.
Photos don't flower at 12/12 outdoor. Most start flowering around 14.5/9.5 to 14/10.

Yes you are right. But when you get frost in August. Its not gonna give you long enough for the plants to mature.

But that’s my location.
Photos out food here. Look like week 2 of a indoor flower by the time we have snow. Lol.

Ive pulled 13 ounces dry from one "think different". Potency and high was also above average.
I've 10 running at 2 weeks old now from DinaFem "The NEW Superauto"

Dutch Passion Think Different Autoflowering Feminised Seeds Info
Think Different is the real surprise package in the Dutch Passion AutoFem collection. She has quickly established a great reputation for stunning yields and very strong weed. Even first time growers have achieved over 100g/plant and experienced growers can achieve 200g-300g+. She can grow over 1m tall in experienced hands and is a good alternative to traditional varieties, offering bumper harvests of strong cannabis just 10-11 weeks after seed germination. The genetics come from a special AK47 hybrid known as AK420.

Indoors she has the potential to yield up to 500g/m² especially in ‘scrog’ systems with powerful lights. She joined our list of best sellers just one year after she was released and has created a following of AutoFem growers who refuse to grow anything else. Serious growers like you should try growing this at least once!

SuperAutos [edit]
A SuperAuto (sometimes referred to as amazonian autos) starts flowering automatically only after a much longer vegetative period between 28/32 days most of the time. Just like other autoflowers changing the lighting schedule does not affect the flowering cycle of these strains. It is not unusual for SuperAutos to get over five feet tall with some becoming eight feet high.

The average life span of a SuperAuto is 90 to 110 days from seed as opposed to the shorter 55–85 days with most common autoflowers. The added advantage of the longer life span is that slow maturing sativa phenotype have more time to develop and larger yields can be obtained (.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoflowering_cannabis)

Also known as xxl autos. Dinafem makes some. The Christmas tree looking one I posted was a amnesia xxl from dinafem.

Most autos can be pushed to 100+ days and bigger sizes. The dwarf varieties or lowrider varieties being the exception.

To push veg times longer use bigger pots and use veg nutes until the end or at least until stretch is done. Using bloom nutes at first sign of sex will quicken flower.

Jack herer

It varies by strain. Some take well to topping. Some don't.
Lucky every auto I have grown dose better then not topped.

I wait until I get a good amount of pistols coming out. Then top them.

They done seam to miss a beat.

I have one on the go now. Contemplating supercroping it and see how it handles it.
