I have had the Magic Flight Launch Box for a couple years now. Man I love this thing! It had been sitting on the shelf for a while until someone started a thread asking about them so I decided to get it out and put it to good use. I was stuck on my couch for quite a while that day. Its nice to be portable and take it anywhere. I have vaped in movie theaters, restaurants, chair lift at the slopes (my personal favorite... still works great even in high winds), damn near anywhere! It definitely helps to stretch out your stash if you are running low on herb. If you have something really tasty it is so much better than inhaling all the lighter fluid/butane/etc and can really taste the full flavor! :leaf:

Magic Flight Launch Box rocks! The key thing for me is discretion at my place. No secret hits in the garage trying to get the smoke out the window or door. Odorless other than the weed itself so it can be used inside much more conveniently. Very efficient and portable. Most of my friends who smoke ask me to bring "your little device". The key to smaller ones like MFLB is an extremely fine grind. It really makes a huge difference. You also have to draw long and slow - no fast rip. But it's much more efficient on your weed and works great.

For me (and many people I know), the top two reasons to vaporize are:

1. Efficiency. Vaporizing is much more efficient than smoking. You need less herb for an equally powerful effect. And because vapor doesn't irritate the lungs, you can keep it inside for longer, thus facilitating the absorption of more of its active components. Many vaporizers will only heat the herb as you inhale, so nothing goes "up in smoke" between puffs.

2. Health. Vaporizing is much healthier than smoking. Not just for the throat and lungs but for the entire body. Tar, toxic gasses, radioactive particles and numerous free radicals are all absent or significantly reduced, depending on the quality of the vaporizer.

Some years ago I wrote the article with 10 reasons why one would prefer vaporization over smoking. See 'Why Vaporize'.

Once you're 'converted', it's unlikely you'll go back to smoking :)

I used to smoke bongs everyday for many years, until I started feeling laggy, lethargic and just generally sick. Then I switched to joints and cut my usage down, which helped alot. Now I smoke through my SSV 90% of the time, get more baked than ever and feel great whilst doing so!

A friend of mine has a Kali Mist pheno he always grows that tastes and smells exactly like mango after a 8 week or so cure. Tastes good in a joint, get slight mango lolly after taste, but in the vape I have never experienced anything like it....Amazing!

Volcano is the top of the line Vape and I rarely smoke anything but. Only time I smoke anything but the volcano is when Im on the move and have to roll a J or bring the bubbler. Even then the high isnt as good... volcano all the way!!

I don't currently own a vape. I had a model that's not made any more back in 2000. It tasted much, much cleaner than smoked weed and didn't stink up the house.
Now I smoke extracts for the exact same gustatory and heady experience. After that, smoking weed - even nicest flowers - is not to my taste. cn
My vape stinks my house up hardcore, just as bad as when I smoke it.

I have been wanting a table top vap for some time now. What are some decent models for under $140? I was looking at the easy vape but worried I'd be getting what I paid for.

Some people just dont like smoke, my gf got sick and could not smoke so I got her that and she loves it. Also people being treated for cancer tend to gag on smoke and then vomit. They need the meds to increase their ability to eat food during treatment so the vape is the way to go

I have smoked out of all types of different things over the years. In my opinion, nothing beats the simple baseball bat 1-hitter.

Save your self a few bucks and eat some nice candy. Wrap in some fancy colored cellophane and you can even stand next to a cop and have a good time with no problem. Great for concerts crawling with pigs. Try that with a vape.

You don't like the taste because your bud is low quality. The best thing about a vape is being able to enjoy the pure taste of your bud. Vape good bud, enjoy good taste. It's as simple as that man :eyesmoke:

my bro has the vape blunt which is 200$ and portable n cool. i have a volcano700$ and a noble vp 120 which is like 150$... the noble vp works nice, pushes the air and has a nice air cooling jacket on the whip. Easy peice. but my volcano rocks its socks off. if u really want something to medicate with, get a volcano it is so easy and nice to use.

I love my Wispr by Iolite. Quiet, easy transport, no smell. Easy enough to clean wiht isoporpol.
Luckily for users, according to a recent NYTimes article on vaporizing, "Vaporized marijuana is virtually free of whatever toxic properties come with burning the plant," said Dr. Lester Grinspoon, an associate professor emeritus of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School."
