Why is this happening?

Hello wonderful people, i'm about almost 2 weeks into flower. Everything up the this point has been..fairly smooth.. It's my first grow so I don't have everything down perfectly, however still much better than some of the first grows i've seen. I have 6 lovley ladies and they're all doing great except for recently in the past week or so, smaller branches at the top of their new growth looks brown/yellow and is small and not growing at all really.. The rest of the plant like the main tops and such are doing great and growing everyday.. Just not the small guys.. I'll post pictures. Any thoughts comments or advice with explanations would be great. I can't seem to find anything specific to what's going on in my case.

Have you checked your soil for bugs,,,are you in large enough pots ,,,,and are you letting soil dryout before watering

I have not checked the soil no.. But when I rub my hand around I don't notice anything extreme. I have seen some nats flying around before though.. I'm in 3 gallon pots idk if they've rootbounded or not yet but i've seen bigger plants than mine in a 3 gall that arent bounded. And yes the drying out has happened before.. 2 time badly.. They were lifeless when I came home. I'm thinking maybe it's just not enough water? I give them 2-3 cups averagley everyday. Is that enough?

I usually feed every 2 days a medium nutrient mix of General Organics bio line
K your watering habits are not good friend that's a major issue. You need to water them good then let the soil dry before watering again Watering everyday is not a good practice. I don't think your root bound no way second pic came in and I can see. Water thoroughly then let the soil get dry before watering again MJ like it's dry period it's just as important as watering itself. The wet to dry cycle watch those knats to they'll lay babies in your constantly wet medium and cause bad things

More info needed
What kind of light you using?
How far away is it?
Do you have good air circ?

I was thinking maybe it was a water problem.. It seems like they're on the verge of just getting enough water. But I don't know would it cause a problem like that? Perhaps i'll try the more water then let it dry out method just to see.

I'm under a 1000w hps
It's about 2 feet above them
And the circulation is pretty good. I have a booster pushing air in and 420cfm taking air out in a 5x5 tent.

Well if it was indeed too little you would give you them more. I give my plants 1-2 teaspoons a gallon every other watering. They enjoy just plain water between feedings IMO. Also do you water until you get a little run off? You should, otherwise you get a salty acidic environment for your roots and that could affect new growth also.

Yeah I go water water feed so they get just water sometimes. And no I don't water that much actually... Usually only about 2-3 cups everyday. I'm starting to think that it's time to up their water more. Maybe a water that lasts a few days then drys out and so on.

I would water until all the soil has been saturated. Let it start to run off then let them mostly dry out then do it again. Little bits of water every day will not deliver the nutrients properly and your plant will be living in a toxic mess

Yeah that sounds like what might be my problem..Even if not why not try it.. I'll flush a little with more water this watering and start to do bigger waterings from now on. Maybe get a ph tester also, i've been reading around and that may be another thing adding to it.
