Hey

So I'm in day 21 of 12/12 from clone and these plants are not looking normal. Usually have nice cotton tops and am defoliating, but these look like they were trying to push the last set of leaves out and everything just stall. Have pistils but very few. Anybody every seen this? Full details of grow below. Pictures of the weird ones and then a picture of what I normally get. Thanks for input.

The Weird tops:

The Usual:

Hempy pots with 75% perlite, 25% vermiculite
Being fed Lucas Formula with RO water. 8ml Micro, 16ml Bloom per gallon. every 2 or 3 days.
Under 450w HPS currently about 14-18" above tops

Weird eh. It's like they don't know if they're in veg or flower. No changes to the setup? New strain? Any stresses early on?

No havent changed a thing...n the roots were beautiful b4 I put them in..were going good n then this. thought light too close as some leaves were clawing so I moved it up. Now giving some cal mag bc I see some rust spots on old leaves...idk. guess ill let me grow out n see what happens. got new ones going...just hoping this isnt how they all start going......

Check roots, the onset of root issues sometimes is followed by a general stunt in growth before/while you start to see leaf issues that are the normal red flag. CO2 at 1250ppm will do you more good if you bring your temps up to 80-84F during the day, but that's not your problem here. I am thinking root/rhizosphere issue.

What tek said is also a good start. I have some clones that were in the cloner without food for 40 days and they are looking similar, but in veg...your's seem to be doing the opposite, if it's not a root problem.

Temps were higher. I can always turn ac down. Light timer seems to be working they turned on when they were supposed to, will check when they go off tonight. If you think it a root problem what could help solve it? They were only in turbo clone for 2.5 weeks and had nice long white roots when they went in 3 weeks ago. Thanks
