Why don't gays/lesbians deserve to have the right to be married?

Gay people shouldn't be allowed to have kids for the kids sake. They would be ridiculed there entire life. It just isn't fair to them.

I think I will just ask a Mod to close

this thread.

Clearly, no one is discussing the topic
anymore, and its just been bickering

and arguing for the last 12 pages.
Sorry girl ...I didn't intentionally derail your thread. I do apologize for having done just that, however. I hope this thread doesn't get closed on account of me being a prick. It's a great thread and there is some excellent debate weaved in between the bullshit.
I was just trying to state the fact that my sister is married to a lovely woman and have adopted a child. They are 2 of the best parents I know. A looney on this thread referred to my sister as a "nasty BUTCH DIKE" so I got a bit defensive.
I understand the argument that it's not fair to the child if he/she is ridiculed for a portion of their life; however, it is a societal problem and should be treated as such. How are we to progress as a planet if we cater to the lowest common denominator (i.e. opponents of gay marriage and Jesus freaks)? We need to stand up for our rights as humans to live whatever lifestyle we choose, and not cater to foolish, archaic belief systems. :peace:

actually yes it does in a way, "monkey see, monkey do"

they will see it as acceptable AND somthing they should be doing as the example set by their parents...
I never saw my parents be loving in anyway. Sexuality is natural and innate. I do not listen to the same music, share political views, like the same kind of cars, wear similar clothing, treat others the same and many other differences. My father likes blonds, I prefer brunettes, he likes little butts and big tits...I like big butts and little tits.

The example parents teach is how to treat others when they are released into the world, and hopefully pass on this respect to future offspring.

Did your parents really teach you how to have sex...much less who you should do such depraved things too?

two woman or two men wouldnt make a good role model to a little idren,,,,they will grow up confused about sexuality in general,,,,,,a hetoral sexual couple thats infertile is diffrent than a sodomite that cant have kids because......its not meant for them to

this is how i look at things very simple,,,get a puzzle,,,,and tryn put it together randomly....peices dont fit do they????
no....same way a woman dont fit with another woman, and a man dont fit with another man....seems man in general always want to go against the natural and that will be our downfall
I think it would be safe to say that 99.99% of all homosexuals came from heterosexual parents. So they became "confused" despite their hetero parents. This is a fallacy. If you ask the straight children of gay parents, I doubt they would say they would change anything about their parents sexuality or gender.

And as for puzzle pieces...unfortunately if you turn the pieces around...2 men fit together disgustingly well...just like two women fit together beautifully!

Here is a news flash for all you wannbe cowboy parents...This is what kids need more than anything....hugs:hug:

Maybe if more parents hugged their kids more often...our children would not grow up so "confused"
