Why does this happen?

whenever i get stoned (usually at night) i think that i probably shouldnt be smoking everyday because i tend to "addicted" or used to something fairly quickly and if i go without it get stressed out or just feeling really bored and crappy. but then i wake up in the morning and then i usually dont get cravings or anything until about an hour or so after i get up and then i just feel like smoking a little bit again. i try to get stuff done before i smoke because i have a indica strain and makes me pretty lazy. but anyone know why or can relate to me when you get high and try to make yourself not do it the next day but still end up doing it?

Yes, I have more anxiety when I am without. Trying to cut back actually makes me smoke more because my next hit is always on my mind.

If it is guilt you feel about smoking you are out of luck.... if not you could pick up a sativa for day time.

I have an edible with my coffee every morning. Start doing am stuff and it slowly kicks in. Before I know it I am feeling good and cleaning house. Take a few hits during the day....works great for me.

Understand your compulsion a little self discipline will make you go far

last I looked weed ain't addictive

not mentally or physically

constant daily use is self abuse 101

chill...! tolerance levels will drop shitloads

after a brief holiday

you will be amazed on how you can get wasted on just a 1/4 gram

best is... avoid token 3 days per week

good luck

Agree if its just because you like getting high.

If you are using this for medication due to illness not practical.

As vostok said.....good luck

Yea, take a break once in a while. It can be tough but the benefits are certainly there.

I can't take a break as I need daily THC for GI problems, but I try to lower my dosage to the lowest possible level to relieve symptoms.

its all in the self discipline to keep it to a few times max per week if its recreational. I am on about week 3 or4 of a t break and I wont have any bud until I harvest my current plant in about 3 months. Previous to this t break I was extremely mentally addicted to it, and I do believe it is mentally addictive despite people saying its not, if you have problems in your life weed is an escape which you can get addicted to imo. Anyway ,not a nice thing coming off it after about 24 months daily use (smoked my whole life but last 2 years a LOT), lots of sleepless nights, lots of moodswings and would you believe I have came down in eczema on my arms and am experiencing a lot of allergic like symptoms, which I haven't ever had before. It could be a coincidence but I theorise that cannabis dulls the immune system or effects it in some way and coming off it has caused my immune system to go haywire. its just weird to come down with these symptoms at the same time as quitting cannabis and it would be interesting to know if and how it is linked. On the plus side I do feel more clear headed, sleep a lot better and dream like crazy

I also have an addictive personality.

It doesn't matter if its drugs, alcohol, or a new "thing" like mountain bikes, Tatts etc. I tend to grab it with both hands and run and go over board.

In regard to pot. I went from a newbie to 1/4 oz a week smoker in like a month. Took years for me to go cold turkey and get rid of the habit. I now just smoke once a week. I'd love to smoke more but Sat night is smoke night and thats that. If I miss Sat night due to whatever..its the next Sat night. Doesnt take much at all to get wasted which is a bonus! (i prefer a Sativa)
