Why do seed companys mess around with the genetics of a plant.

I have just done a jack herer grow the seeds was from cannabis seeds nl and this is not the jack that sensi seeds do so should this realy be called jack herer or a hybrid of jack herer............................................tyke......................................................

Not every seed bank has the original genetics, Some might say they do and that this strain has won multiple cups but most of the time it isnt the strain your buying. GH are known to bullshit alot.
