why do people snort xanax?

To the snorting folk. Do your homework. First find out if what you are snorting is water solvable. If it isn't then your nose might burn, you might just pack your sinuses with crud that will eventually drip into your stomach anyway, or it will be a complete waste.

Then find out if it is the most efficient. Every drug has a different roa that works best. Barring iv you want to look at blood flow, circulation surface area and solubility.

Good blow works damn well in the sinuses because it is so damn water solvable.

I believe there is only one water solvable benzodiazepine and it isn't alprazolam.

If you are after a rush, the point is always how do you get the most amount of the chemical into the blood stream as quickly as possible. More properly (in most cases) past the blood brain barrier.

Also as was mentioned, if there are certain metabolic hindrances to the chemical you want, how do you bypass or circumvent the organ that is part of the process.

Of course there are some cases where the metabolite is what you seek, like soma for instance.

Of course you can use carriers, the pot complex is all lipid soluable so dissolve it in that.

If you are eating morphine, follow it with a slug of oil.

Do you happen to know which benzo is snortable? Benzos are one of my all time favs, have been for yrs. Luckily I've got the will power and presence of mind not to become dependant. Never have snorted them, or even heard if anyone trying that. I'm interested. Any benefits other than feeling it faster? Appreciate any feedback.

I think it is dormecium but I really can't remember. Of course dormecium will do that to you anyway. It is tough to get a rush from Xanax but it is possible.

Easier to get one from Valium. Use the same procedure. Fifteen MG max.

xanax is not water soluble. reason why they dont give it iv. ativan is water soluble but i still would never snort it or recommend anyone to do so.

swallowing it should only take about 20 minutes for most people. about what it takes for me then gets stronger. just be careful not to wake up in jail not knowing what happen like too many people i know.

Thats never happened to anyone i know. Your memory usually comes in flashes. Plus while yur gone you still have your senses about yiu.

Most ive taken is 40mg and a gram or two of white. Good times good times..while driving, shopping etc. I just act kinda drunk

Also, using xanaxs logp knowing yiu cant insuffulate. You should alsp know it doesn not take 20min to hit yiu. More like an hour and a half for peak blood serum levels

Never really been a big Xannie fan. Valium is my preferred benzo, been playing with them off and on since the '70's. They just agree with me I guess. There was a time when I would only do coke if I had some V's.

As canndo had mentioned most benzodiazepines are not water soluble, so,you really just waiting on the drip to feel anything other than placebo. I used to snort that shit all the time then my sister went to,nursing school and informed me I was an uninformed user.. Never again

Midazolam. Very powerful, used primarily for pre op. First, it makes you damn care free, and second, it promotes antrograde (or is it retrigrade) amnesia.

One of the arguments is that pain you don't remember isn't pain. It has been given in cocktails for execution (I don't think that pain axiom applies)

So presumably, if your anesthetic didn't work and you were awake for your gall bladder removal you wouldn't be terrorized.

It is my second favorite benzodiazepine and I've tried many. I posted a comparison some time ago.

If you are curious, seven and a half MG puts most in a glorious state of languid, contentment. But put nothing down, do no organizing, do not leave your house and put all your effects in one place before you take it.

You will not forget the big things, who you talked to, what about, what you watched on TV. But if you moved or misplaced something you will only remember that you did so, not where that something ended up.

It is like visiting being old for six hours.

I misplaced a six thousand dollar check once.

Interestingly, I recovered it by taking Midazolam again a week later.

Favorite is still thethe oldest and best, Valium. Nothing quite like it.

Never have a Xanax. I hear about them a lot on American television. Anxiety pill?

I've only had SSRI's and SNRI's, oh and tons of antibiotics, asthma medication, birth control, T 3's, Percs, and maybe Valium? Never snorted any of those though.

Only ever snorted the illegal ones. And not for awhile. Not a big fan of the harder drugs anymore. Unpredictable how I'll feel the next day, so not worth it.

Always heard those "back-loaded" shakers were dilaudid. Sounds like it but like you said, people make stuff up, especially when it comes to drugs.
