Why do Christians want God in our schools if he killed a bunch of kids in Egypt?

It doesn't make sense! I really don't get it, please help me understand this. God purposely hardens the heart of pharaoh so that he won't free the Hebrews, and then kills the firstborn throughout Egypt after pharaoh carries out his will.

Exodus 11:10
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

Why would you want this guy in a school full of children? Wouldn't that be like hiring a child molester to protect all the little kids from being raped? God even killed all the firstborn animals in Egypt! Why on earth would they want a mass murderer and child killer in our schools?

Do you think he will protect all the Christian children. Is that it? Well what about all the little Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu kids? If God killed children before he can kill them again, I don't want the children of other religions to be killed by God if the principal is forced by God to do something and then punished for it like pharaoh.

I don't get it. Christians, why would you want this entity in our schools if he is a known murderer of children? Did you know that sociopaths frequently kill animals? It sounds like God might have antisocial personality disorder.

Exodus 12:29-30
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Tough one. Think I'll pass.

fwiw. Have always considered the old testament a history book. The new testament, however, is something very different. /truly a book about spirituality, ethics, etc.

The New Testament is essentially a revised version of the actual bible, which was only done because so many people gave them shit for it and said stuff like "Man, they sure did some fucked up stuff in those biblical times".
So they made new one to please all of those people and sell out on what should be their beliefs. So basically any new Christian is a fucking sell out and should have just formed their own opinion on what should, or should not be.

They were warned multiple times with things like grasshoppers, plus the babies probably went to heaven so whatever.

I view the whole thing as some sort of cruel twisted fairy tale where the main character is a real sick SOB that is greedy selfish and just plain mean. Who wants to live their life for that dude.
I'm a college grad with a masters in mathematics so I can only make since of things I can either prove or disprove. Logic my friends. It just isn't logical to believe that when I die, if I did everything the way god wanted me to do it,that some part of me will float away to some blissfull place where all of my dreams come true. Sometimes I have wet dreams so does that mean in heaven I get to fuck Carmen Electra? It just don't make since.
Oh yea by the way,no I don't want killers in my child's school

Pharaoh had MANY plagues before that Sea of Blood, Hail and Locust ect. ect. each greater than the first and was warned by Mosses but Pharaoh didn't care because of the hardness of his heart and let his children be killed.
This is a clear teaching of what's going on today with the hardness of peoples hearts getting there children harmed, killed or sent to hell because they grew into a person hating God, and being in evil situations.

God is a tough nut to crack.
His ways are mysterious.
He told me this, a couple times.

The whole pharoah and egypt thing was a prophecy: GB2 is pharoah. The iraqi people are the jews.
Sounds irrational i know.
I did say his ways are mysterious.

Digging this shit up because I haven't been on in ages, but I don't think that the bible is really about heaven or hell or even half the shit mentioned in it. That is, unless Jesus really was some cuntish, cult figure that just liked to have his way and talk to his mum like shit.
I believe that it's more of a guide than anything else, and due to the retarded nature of people, they decided to take it way to literal. The heaven and hell deal, I'd attribute more to peace of mind and a happy life more than dying and burning for all eternity while the devil has his way with you. You see all these hard cunts walking around, that kill people for money, knock off drug dealers, and so on, but they still have their own morale dilemmas to deal with. It's weather or not they can admit it that's the real problem. After a while you get used to it, especially if you're surrounded by people that live the same life, but sooner or later everyone thinks about it.
But that all depends on your perspective and how you interpret things, I suppose.

I guess you didnt read how Pharaoh had all the first born male Hebrew babies thrown into the river alive which is the reason Moses was sent down the river in a basket. Seems righteous to me.
