why cool/dark place?

Just a quick question I was wondering about. Why does it have to be a cool place instead of a warm place? Wouldn't moisture from inside end up making it's way out quicker with warmer temps? Also, the cooler air wouldn't promote mold?

PS Humidity during drying/curing should be about what?

light and high temps means thc breaks down into different (not so good) compounds. roomtemp and dark is the way to go!

u want ur buds to dry out naturally, not a force dry hence the cool place... and as for dark sicc got that on the head... It doesnt need to be completely dark...just keep it out of direct light...
