I picked up some of the citrus Sweet. Guy told me it's very popular and gives a good aroma. Anyone use it and what strength? I'm using it at about 1/2 of what they reccomend.

I wouldnt use it... just use molasses... its the "secret ingredient" in many organic fertilizers... gives energy, and works as a minor natural fungicide... Jorge Cervantes's book is fucking amazing and tells you evrything you need to know about growing... in detail... i read the book and just harvested my 1st grow ever... check out the pics and you will believe me!!

No shit it doesnt impart flavor. Its like saying molasses imparts a flavor. Sweet enhances aromas and flavor as well as nourish your plants. But again you will not get flavored weed.

WRONG! Sweet does affect flavor if you use it during flush.

Sweet is better than molasses because it provides more than just sugar. It is essentially the same, but I have better results with Sweet than Molasses. Plus, try putting molasses in a hydro setup, now try and clean it. No bueno.

As far as how much to use, I use the ratio it recommends on the back, and about 33% more during the final fert week. I flush with water for 5 days, and then with sweet added the next 5.

So if i was to simply flush with water with sweet berry in it for a few days would this affect the flavour of the herb??? If so...how??? How does it work? does it replenish the sugars in the plant or something?

It does. If you use the Berry it will make your weed taste more like berries. If you use citrus, it will make your weed taste more citrusy. Personally I don't like the Citrus cuz of the way the weed tastes afterwards, but the berry doessome gorgeous things for the taste.

Yes you simply use the sweet during the final flush. I use it at 1.3X recommended for flowering plants with plain water. I am not sure of the science but I'm sure about the smoke.

I think one of the main points to such products are also to increase bud weight by getting them to suck up the sugar which is quite dense.

the fact of the matter is i use organics so and i dont think sweet is 100% organic... just giving my input and honey and mollasses work really well... however i dont use hydro either... i prefer organic soil so... give it a try man... the only way to find if something is good is if u like it... i thought about trying it but dec iede to stick with honey or mollasses

It's not bad with vodka either! Just kidding. I am using it, but it is too soon to tell. I wont be harvesting my first crop using it for about 3 weeks. I have heard some good things about it though.

Sweet is organic. It's OMRI certified. I use Advanced Nutrients Carbo-Load that is made from a variety of complex sugars specifically tailored to mj. It's been great for me and seems to improve flavor, taste and aroma. I apply it as a foliar spray as well (It's supposed to be more effective that way.)

This is just intuitive but I believe it works like raising the brix level in grapes, feeding the plant the extra carbs it needs.

ya Advanced Nutrients is the shit... i use Carbo Load on top of mollasses... Do u use The carbo load as a foliar spray? Also little side note... Adding sugars during last six weeks of flowering Augments harvest weight by up to 20%!!

IMHO, the best carb product on the market is Humboldt's HONEY ES. I use the entire Fox Farm line and recently added this delicious product. It makes buds fatter, stickier, stronger smelling and enhances the natural flavor of the strain.

I would only use products like Sweet Citrus with an orange strain, Sweet Berry with a berry strain, GH Flora Nectar Pineapple with a pineapple strain......etc.

Just me tho.
