I play real poker, not online rubbish. The kind that has you and a buinch of friends and some bottles of whiskey up until 7am playing :) I like to get to the last 2 and then just go all in on blinds. Fuck it i say. I play poker in my spare time, i want to have fun, i have a job which gives me plenty of opportunity to be serious, so i like fun poker, not high stakes all about the money boring ass poker :D

I am, but I too mostly play in the casino just north of here. Vegas too, but that is just twice a year. Play on pokerstars, but not cash, funny money.

used to play on pokerstars, funny money and real. stoped when all the people started hacking and cheating...
same here, used to love playing on Party poker, actually learned a lot from one person, until it became a social network of fake games to boost one's account $$ .. lame.

(me in the blue shirt)

i just made $850 in Las Vegas this past week (3 days of play)

i bought in for $200 at a 1/2 dollar NLHE cash game at the flamingo & doubled up (pocket jacks beat pocket aces...got it all-in on the flop with an open-ender and hit a straight)
...typically i don't like cash games...too damn swingy for me, but i was excited to play a little when i arrived in Vegas

then it was down to 3 players in a 2-table, 50 dollar NLHE tournament @ treasure island (we all decided to split the prize $ evenly, $250 each)

then the next day i entered the same tournament and took first place (good for $470)

(pictures above are from my first place win)

very cool experience...def prefer tournament play

cuz the blinds were HIGH and our stacks were pretty even...so it was coming down to flips for the win...so whoever had the cards/luck on their side was gonna take it...& we decided we had played enough poker that day....

I love to play poker. However, I will not deposit any money into an online game anymore, I learned my lesson. When I lived in Texas, I played live poker every chance I could. Since moving to Mexico though, it's all been online.
It's a shame what's happened recently. It's all just a money grab.

Was a regular micro-limit player on FTP until we got fucked two weeks ago. Played in a 2-4 rush game with Don Cheadle once. Needless to say I lost my stack on a flip on a 200NL table.

loldonkaments.

I've made quite a substantial amount of money playing online in the past 5 years. In fact it was my job for the past 2. No on is cheating, that's just typical "I lost on a 56/44 flip, but felt my AK sooooooooted shoulda held, and now I cry about it". If people are cheating online at poker (not speaking of multi accounting) Then they sure suck at it, cause they've paid for my house over the past 2 years.

Sure sucks we cant play online in the big rooms anymore. Of course our government want's their cut...
