I tried The Church once when so many people here were raving how it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I do not recall how long it took to finish, but it was not much different than the breeder information ... but everyone's mileage will vary some depending on setup, conditions and if you happen to get a different phenotype or two in the mix. It was easy to grow, it produced fairly well, it was slightly better than mediocre smoke/potency as professional genetics go ... but as bad as that might sound I do consider it to be what I call a 'value strain' for people with lower budgets or for beginners. What you get in relation to what you pay is really not a bad value at all. It beats commercial so to some people it will seem like killer weed. Being easy to grow it reduces the risks of a major malfunction resulting in massive or total failure and even if that occurs you are not out much money.

I ran the Church and Sharksbreath 2 times

Church was OK, easy to grow and real fast cloner. Quality of the smoke was good, not great; not bad.. Grade C for me.

Sharksbreath, Ive had 2 completely different experiences. The first run was from a single seed, it produced some of tastiest and distinct smoke ive ever had. I would grade it as an A

Second run I just finished and had completely different plants. Not 1 of the plants was similar to the first run. All grew and yielded well, just not real nice taste, smell or buzz. I talk to a few local MMJ growers and one just had the same experience. Bad batch of beans from DNA we are guessing? I do know they were off the market for a short time

I've got Cole Train in flower now. About 6 weeks along. Not impressed so far. Kinda skimpy and not a very strong smell. I'm hoping it's going to be one of those quality over quantity situations. The buds do look nice though, very frosty.

i grew both sharksbreath and coletrain as freebies. the coletrain was a hermie and i was pissed because it was real promising in veg. the sharksbreath was some kind of mutant and the end smoke was decent in the stone department but VERY boring in the smell and flavor department. when i say mutant i mean the fan leaves had stems that were no lie like 8 inches long, the first 4 nodes had fan leaves that only had 3 leathery fingers and the middle one was seriously almost 4 inches wide. this plant was only 22'' at harvest, so you can see how these proportions are odd. the leaves were just strange in appearance throughout the whole plant. the leaf to bud ratio sucked also which probably didn't help the flavor very much. i ended up cloning the thing because i had just set up a new space and wanted to try my hand at cloning. the clone less fucked up than the mother was, probably because i took the clone from the most normal branch i could find.

outa the 6 pack of SB beans i got i beleive i got what is the best of both sides of the spectrum i have one 9 week finisher that is VERY reminisent of the GWS frosty to all hell with a ratio of trim to bho of 20g to 1.4g and has a complex buzz the structer is solid as well like a pine tree solid fat nugs to the bottom as well yielded 2.5 oz in a 2 gal home made air bucket wiht ss no problem with minimal effort

the other has a very spicy tropical flavor that i beleive is the lambsreath side of the spectrum finishes in 11 weeks and has a tendency to branch out like crazy but it maxes beautifal floral clusters this isnt as heavy of a bho producer as i beleive their are not as many soluble terepins in it but non the less the bho is killer this if trained right and in the right environment can yield up to 3.5 oz in a 2 gal container

possibly the only indica i wanna grow lol just so damn TASTEY

Cole train is aesthetically nice but the potency is just ok. The buds swell quite a bit in late flower but the end product is still pretty fluffy. It has a nice smell but it really doesn't come through in the flavor. I'd give it about a 6/10, I'm running it for a second time just to see if it will do any better but I doubt I'll keep it around.
