I'm so new at this I'd be afraid to say. I'd scour the net forums to get ideas. Growing weed is really a seat of the pants endeavor, it turns out. Who knew?

Id have to have some more info on the grow to know. First glance not knowing anything about it, it looks like its hungry for some phosphorus.
I dont want to derail the op's thread so send me a pm with info like lighting,temps,nutrients used etc and I can try to be of some help.

Newest development - I've got these little brown bugs. They're not beetles, I don't think, because they're not crunchy. But they're up to no good & I want them outta here! I started using a very mild Tea Tree solution to spray the leaves, which they seem to find distasteful & has lessened their numbers, but not enough for them to relocate. They seem to like the crotch of the nodes where new growth occurs. I have noticed some mild indications of damaged leaves but nothing too destructive yet. My phone sucks so it's hard to get a better picture

Oh, also the new growth on this particular plant is very yellow, almost white. It turns green as it grows but i don't remember it growing like this until these little brown fuckers showed up. I'm sure the two issues are unrelated, though....pH out was 5.5, which I'm aware is way low for a soil grow, but I'm withholding nutes until I get it up some (our well water is pH 7.9 - 8.0 so with each plain water watering the soil pH comes up a little). Any ideas on how to keep this a successful grow are gold to me. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I have an iron deficiency but I'm not sure if it's caused by a lack of iron or my pH being low.

Actually I deleted it: I mentioned something about the bugs affecting the roots, I suggested they might be thrips but then your pictures loaded for me and I'm not sure ?
they don't look like what I've seen in pictures of thrips, and I've never had them so I'm not sure, so I deleted it rather than mislead you, but you might want to Google thrips and see if they look like those bugs to you ?

I'm running DWC with diaphragm 6 inch air stones and ph 6.5, nutes 380 ppm and small amount of hydro guard and root burst from
Botanicare The color of the leaves are healthy green with the exception of one or two that look like the one in the picture, I'm running COB LED lights 700 W 12 - 18" away from the canopy with cooling fans. 18 on six off light cycle and I keep an oscillating fan on 24 hours a day and the stems are nice and thick overall plant looks healthy. The root mass is huge and a beautiful white color, Temp. Inside 4'x4' tent tuns 66-77. Venting is done with and I power 6 inch carbon filter and fan that i exhaust outside. So, the weather here is FINALLY acting more spring-like & I have been taking everyone outside for some natural sun & some natural air. All have responded positively & even though this is an indoor grow, I plan to let them spend as much time as possible in sun. What I'm wondering is, am I fucking up by switching them from artificial light to sunlight & back again daily? Is this an unnecessary stressor? They just seem to like the sun so much more than sodium light.

The short answer is imo, eh..!? ( aka. Six of one, half dozen the other) Probably not a big issue once they're hardened-off, however my main concern is by putting them outside you might be bringing mites or other pests in with you ?

That's entirely possible. To minimize the pest issue, they are at least isolated (that is, not within 20' of other plants) & they're elevated (so far ground critters haven't been a factor). They just really respond to sunshine & temperate climate. Within 3 minutes of hitting sun they perk up & turn darker green. Not that they're fairing poorly under hps, they just seem to like the sun better. Anyway, we'll see. The little brown bugs (which seem to have issued from somewhere inside the house) are gone now without wreaking too much havoc.

While training some unruly branches out of the way, I accidentally broke one & folded (supercropped) two others. DOH! I'm curious how much this will set my grow back.
