in veg i never had a problem they grow like crazy, then after i put a batch a clones straight from the cloner to flower in a dwc table, first the slimy roots were brown then i changed the water 130gallons and cleaned every clone under the tap after cleaning everything i refiled the the table and added h202 30% 1ml/gallon,for the first 2 days the roots were white but they looked a little deficient so i raised the nutes from 0.8 to 1.1 ec,then today i saw they have a white flufy slime forming on the roots

the ph 5.8
ec 1.1ec
water temp 18-20c
6 dual air pumps and 12 airsrone and a circulating pump 150gph
90 clones white russian

i dont have the pics of the roots but i have an old pic from the construction before the table was setup, the boards that cover it are not completely opaque its dark inside but not completely is this the couse for this white shit thats probably clogging the roots ability to uptake nutrients,i quess thats the reson they are deficient, and now the other 2 dwc reservoirs with my new NL plants are also showing the same thing, what i dont get is how didnt it show during the veg. on the NL plants they were in plastic tubs covered with the same material for 2 or 3 weeks and nothing and now when i put em in 12/12 this shit happens

im using sintetic nutes and super vit only now

did u have the same shit happen, whats the couse of it,does anyone know what is this slime so then i can find a wa to fight it,first the slime was brown so then i added h2o2 in one of the rez. it first turned white and today its gonne,in the other big 130g dwc it was brown at first but after i changed the water and added h2o2 it turned white and the roots are slimy white, the plants are deficient,so today i covered the whole table in aluminium foil and now its completely dark ,tomorow il put the UV light init to see if that helps, does anyone know for sure what is it,if its algea then it should be unable to live without light

no light in this table see,the h202 dosent take care of the problem, does anyone have any experience with Potassium Permanganate

maybe that would help

has anyone used Potassium Permanganate, the lady at the aquarium shop told me its the only thing that can kill it,see the link i posted about it,the second one explains how they use it in pond to cure these kind of problems id cures the fish too of the parasites i dont know will it harm plants,so tonight i placed a few of the infected clones in a cloner with Potassium Permanganate to see whats gonna happen
