"White privilege".

http://www.ibtimes.com/why-racial-quotas-university-admissions-are-unfair-280875

Elite US universities, however, are one of the few intuitions brazen enough to enforce this kind of institutionalized prejudice – and they have a long history of doing so.

Early in the 20th century, they conspired to keep the Jews out.

It all started when universities like Harvard began to use college entrance exams as criteria to weed out academically inferior students. An unintended consequence of this was a surge in Jewish enrollment – to as high as 20 percent at Harvard.

To stop this rise in the Jewish student enrollment, universities devised “character” considerations like one’s mother’s maiden name and changes to one’s family name*.

Based on these “character” considerations, they tried to identify and keep out Jews.

At Harvard, applicants who were conclusively Jewish was labeled “j1, those who were probably Jewish “j2,” and those who were possibly Jewish “j3,” according to Professor Jonathan Zimmerman of NYU.

Today, these prejudicial “character” considerations remain in place – but in a different form.

Their main purpose isn’t to keep Asians out (an Asian quota can be easily enforced by identifying Asian-sounding family names and by self-identification on the application).

Instead, they’re mostly used to benefit the elites at the expense of lower-middle class whites.

Lower-middle class whites don’t get any special considerations. Moreover, most of them can’t afford fancy piano or tennis lessons, so their children can’t win many awards in these extracurricular activities. Elite universities then label these children as not having a “well-rounded character.

Meanwhile, these types of lessons are the norm for privileged children.

Racial quotas. It's what's for breakfast!

Trigger warning: Yellow privilege is documented in the last paragraph.

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/339778/racial-quotas-harvard-and-legacy-ibakkei-ron-unz

In the decades that followed, Harvard and its Ivy League allies redoubled their public advocacy of racial diversity via holistic admissions. When California’s Proposition 209 propelled the affirmative-action debate back onto the national stage during the 1990s, Derek Bok and William Bowen, former presidents of Harvard and Princeton respectively, published The Shape of the River, a weighty and influential volume that made the case for achieving academic racial diversity using the non-quota Ivy League methods already endorsed by the high court. Over the years, advocacy of “a holistic admissions system” as practiced by Harvard has become a favored mantra among diversity advocates in higher education.
But what if all these claims were simply fraudulent?

I recently published a lengthy article analyzing the admissions policies of America’s Ivy League universities; one of my main points was that these policies coincide with a very suspicious pattern of Asian-American enrollments.

Over the last 20 years, America’s population of college-age Asian Americans has roughly doubled; but during this same period, the number admitted to Harvard and most other Ivy League schools has held steady or even declined, despite significant improvement in Asian academic performance. Furthermore, the Asian percentages at all Ivy League schools have recently converged to a very narrow range and remained static over time, which seems quite suspicious.

Meanwhile, the Californian Institute of Technology (Caltech) follows a highly selective but strictly race-neutral admissions policy, and its enrollment of Asian Americans has grown almost exactly in line with the growth of the Asian-American population.

The "black culture", an identity that is intentionally belligerent and self indulgent, is counterproductive and frankly disgusting.

Any black person that defends this mentality is living as a child, rebelling against common sense and integration.

We are humans. Black or white, we are all living in the same skin, just those that CHOOSE to differentiate themselves from successful society WILL oppress themselves.

So, regardless of color, pull up the pants, grab a belt, stop speaking slang, and get with the program.

You need to get your racism figured out, I can't help you there.

From the article:
So Democratic senators in January passed SCA 5, which would have restored racial and ethnic quotas that were stripped from California’s public-university systems in 1996 following statewide passage of anti-quota Proposition 209.

...

Practically speaking, Prop. 209 has meant that admissions to California’s elite public universities go to the individuals most qualified to attend them. It’s not a barrier for people of color – but a barrier for all students who don’t have the best grades and test scores. California has other universities and colleges that accept people whose academic records aren’t quite as good.
This kinda sounds like discrimination against the white man, but I'm not sure since it is so hard being a white man in this unfair world. I take it that you're aware this thread is for white people, particularly men, to share their experiences of discrimination and oppression.
