Which way to mount socket in DIY enclosure for best cooling

Hey guys,

Anyone have an idea of which way to best mount a socket in an enclosure to maximise cooling? Pic attached.

What I mean is either the socket will be the first thing the cool air hits, or it will be the last.

My guess is that bulb first, then socket.

What about all ya'll that bought aircooled enclosures, how are they set up?

Nice. I saw your thread a couple weeks ago. Your thread is a major reason I decided on making my own enclosure. I'm going in a different direction as far as the makeup of the light, but feel special that the diy light guru has stopped by.
