Which light to flower with?

I get my bulb in 2 weeks. In the mean time which light to flower my one plant with?

400w red
1000w blue?

I also have a 400 blue and I'm waiting on my 1000 red bulb to come. Till then not sure. Can't use both. Basement only has one outlet and my surge protector can't handle both on one line. The 1000 already gives it a run for its money

If you go with blue the plant won't stretch as much... all red and it may stretch too much...
I always ran my mh for the first week of flower to keep stretching down.. Experiment!!

Can you do the red and throw in some cool white cfl's?

Decided to go to local store and just buy a 1000w red bulb

Yes but my system is a hybrid that can do mh and hps. All I gotta do is change t He bulb.
I have both a 400 and a 1000. But I have a 400w mh and hps and for my 1000 at the time I only had a 1000w mh. I was originally gonna use the 400 hps until I got my 1000hps, but I wasn't sure if a 1000 mh is better or a 400 hps

Run the 1000 mh until the hps gets there then run it.. your " blue and red bulbs" confused people.. I think...

for one u must be colure blind as metal hallid are not blue and hps is not red mh is white hps is a dull orange at any time do they go blue or red get rid of them

ofc a 1000 watts or mh will out perform a 400hps any day i have alot of friend that grow with mh all the way thru flower for tighter nods all it comes down to is what u like to use they both work good but if u have a 1000watt for veg and a 400 w for flower just toss the 400 and use the mh and u do no if u have a 1000 watt ballest u can not put a 400 watt bulb in it you will fucking burn down your house in about 3 days

Thread is dead, already went to the store and bought a 1000w hps bulb.
