Hi all.. i am in week 3 flowering of my Chocolope cuttlings in coco slabs.

I am about to buy a bloom booster and i have come down to the following 3:

1. Plagron GreenSensation
2. ATAMI Bloombastic
3. Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy

Now.. i have used bloombastic 2x before and i am not sure i am too happy with it.. it often doesnt mix good with my solution imho.

Is AN Bud Candy worth trying? Or GreenSensation?

Anyone experiance with any of those.. pls let me know :)

I heard good things about green sensation ...you really need to be doing aside by side test and 2 clones from same mother..same pots .nutes ECT.just diffrent boosters to really see the diffrence they make ...i think they all work in there own right ..hope this helps...scarecrow77

I was about to buy Bud Candy when i saw this review video of some guy explaining why NOT to buy it..
Bud Candy increases the shelf-life of your weed with 40% (as said on their website) so basically it adds a conservative to your weed.
What type of veggies do you prefer when you go to your local store? Fresh ones or canned ones? No need to answare this as the answare is obvious.

So i am not sure if i want this in my buds to be honest.. i might try the greensensation instead.
I havent done my homework properly so i am not sure if i shall believe what this youtube guy says, but any argument against a product just pushes the other options UP in the choice.

If anyone has any arguments against it pls talk :)

Should look into H&G top shooter, i really like this stuff. Have heard mixed reviews on bloombastic, but have now experience with it.

I agree with stow most boosters are just snake oil or are more trouble than they are worth. But i also feel H&G is a higher quality product, and not just because of their big price tag...

You could be right bro. I don't want to come off as a know it all. It's just that a lot of these products have molasses and other inexpensive items as their primary ingredient and they just repackage it and sell it for an arm and a leg.

None of the above. If you buy one of those the only change that will occur is your wallet will be a little lighter. If you do buy one, treat 1 plant with it and leave another be and see if you can notice any difference.

Not trying to be an ass, just trying to save you a little money.
U still did.nt answer his question...what do you recommend he get..

The answer is that these canabis specific "bloom boosters" and magic juice are nothing but marketing. Hype. If you're growing with synthetics then a good one or two part nutrient line that contains your macros, micros, and minerals will do the trick. If you're growing organically a well inoculated soil loaded with organic inputs gets it done. No special sauce necessary.

A bet years ago some growers wanted something that would help increase their yields, some smart people came up with a solution and marketed it to them and now they complain that their just trying to take your money. Boosters work, it's not some scam to cheat you out of your money. Of course there's hype that's how you generate buzz about your product. These aren't some greedy Wall Street assholes, these are people who have fought for our right to grow this plant legally. Theres nothing wrong with supporting an industry that benefits us directly.
I'm sure you'll have positive results from any of those used properly along with your regular feeding. Good luck!

they are almost all the same . this is what I am currently using . I place this vs advance nutrient line and heavy 16 and fox farms beastie blooms same results . actually no this stuff is a lot stronger . you will need to use calmag along with it . so you don't lock out your plant . you can pull massive yields from this . this is not a joke . im serious .. http://www.kmart.com/kgro-1.5-lb-super-bloom/p-043W004158185000P?prdNo=6&blockNo=6&blockType=G6
guys buy a bag try it on 1 plant what do you have to lose ? save some cash .

Even the halfway educated grower knows that supplying additional P and K (from 'boosters') on top of a balanced food is not only NOT needed but that action will actually decrease yields. Those so-called 'smart people with THE solution' you speak of were not botanists, rather folks on the marketing team.

To answer the question directly, the best "bloom booster" is mono potassium phosphate (KH2PO4).

All other bloom boosters are made with that.

Almost all phosphorous is supplied that way in most hydroponic formulas too, not just the "boosters".

bloombastic improves the quality and yield you will get from your plants but it is very viscous and can cause problems if not used correctly.

bud candy is not a bloom booster and will impart a flavour on your finished product that remains the same no matter what strain you grow ( like a manufactured bubble gum smell) i don't like it.

never used plagron.

anybody that tells you bloombastic is snake oil and will not improve the finished products is either not capable of using it properly or are just a straight up liar, i've used it for four years and i know how to use it to extract the most from your genetics.
