Which beans to pop for a first grow?

This is gonna be my first real grow aside from the abomination in my signature, I'm trying to decide which strains out of my first order from attitude would be good for someone with a little bit of firsthand and a lot of secondhand experience (depending on your definition of friend, I have 3-4 friends that grow)

planning on running four plants.
I'm torn about popping some of the strains I actually paid for first. I paid for 5 fem g13 labs midnight kush seeds, 5 thseeds the hog, and two querkle. These strains I'm most excited for, so it'd be great to get some bud from them faster, but also, I think it'd be good to get a grow or two under my belt first, to guarantee I get some really good hog, querkle, and midnight.

The freebies-I've been trying to pick from this list mostly, not having more than 2 seeds of each freebie means I'll either have to pop a seed and clone or run multiple strains at once. I plan on starting out with six plants in veg, but two of them are gonna be those autoflower seeds, so it's only really gonna be four for the flowering cycle.

World of seeds brazil amazonia x2
World of seeds colombian gold x2
World of seeds afghan kush x2
THseeds Burmese kush x2
THseeds original bubblegum x1
Top Tao Seeds micron auto tao x2 (popping right away)
g13 labs white critical x1
g13 labs white lavender x1
g13 labs white widow x1

I've always been very interested in landrace strains from around the world, wanted to try em all. I read on some other forum through googling those world of seeds strains that I might be "considering a career change to indoor octopus wrestling"
Those white strains caught my attention fast (I was thinking of ordering lavender instead of midnight kush anyway!) but there's only one of each :( I guess I could always place more orders.

any of these especially recommended for a rusty semi-noob?
Not trying to start any debate on "ooh this seed company has nothing but hermies and this seed company has bullshit genetics and blah blah blah" Just asking, are any of these probably better for my first run? it's a first run guys.

Lavender is so amazing if you find the one that really smells and tastes like it, White widow or critical for yield and any of the others as you see fit. I don't have experiences with land race strains as I don't have much height so I don't wanna get too crazy. :D but in the future when I get a house on some land I will be outdoors.

i'm not gonna look all those up but you say you're gonna pop the Tao micron auto right away so use another indica dominant strain.
edit:realized it's an auto and made a mistake.ihate making mistakes

Since its your first grow I would not grow landrace genetics. Could be very finicky, longer flowering periods and alot of stretch depending on how much sativa in the genetics. I would go for the g13 lab white crosses and the autos maybe the burmese kush or afghan kush up to you on that one.

I really enjoyed the Afghan Kush Special that I grew from WOS. First go round with WOS had terrible germination.

I know it's a different strain, but probably similar. I was really impressed by it. Regret not cloning it as I'd still have it around. Good night smoke, very potent and just covered in trichomes

I would steer clear of world of seeds from my experience which is very limited their genetics yield good but aren't very potent, and the taste isn't the best. This is from me growing a freebie sample of their strawberry blue but I was not impressed. Out of those choices I would recommend the G13 White Widow or G13 White Lavender.

I agree! All i hear about it is that it's low quality and blah, yet the only time i had it, 8 years ago in amsterdam, I opened the bag, and it might as well have been lavender buds instead of weed, and then i smoked it and it blew me away. Although tbh, even if it was a mid-grade high, i'd still grow it for the smell alone. Now i just need to find strains that smell of rosemary, and thyme.

As said above, maybe avoid a landrace, or even just sativas, but in my opinion, just pick a strain and grow it. On your first grow, whatever happens, it's vital experience. I am a firm believer in the importance of bad experiences to teach you what not to do. Was glad that on my first grow, i grew 4 different strains and one died. Gave me an understanding of what was going on. Absolutely nothing wrong with failure if you understand what went wrong, it only empowers you :)

Pop the Afgan Kush, very tolerant of newbie goofs, finishes in good time, good yield. When grown and cured with a little TLC, nice aroma and the potential to be kick ass if your genetics are good.

I had the opposite with WOS Strawberry Blue although I wouldn't say it was amazing, it was slightly above average.. I bought a 12 pack (actually came with 15 ceeds) and grew out 5 and 3 of them were great. not a 'knock you down smoke' but a really nice daytime smoke with decent flavor. decent yield of dense bud. Everyone has vastly different experiences with some strains.

Thanks guys! great advice
think I'm gonna go with both afghan kush, both autoflowers, and the white widow and white critical.

it's been almost 60 hours since I got my "dispatched" notification and the tracking number isn't working still. ordered december 9th 6:30 pm, dispatched notification came december 12th, 6 am. it's december 14th getting close to 10 am, should I worry or contact attitude yet?

word up, that's why I asked here first, I fucking hate bothering people when they're clocked in and it's stressful, as I'm sure it is this time of year especially. sure as hell doesn't get you better service!
thanks for the link, my number is still coming up with "please try again, your reference number may be incorrect..." and stuff.
I'll try again later

Agreed I have seen some really kickass photos of autos

and where I live they would be great for an outdoor gorilla grow

but not in my main rooms unless they're freebies and theyll prolly hang out in the veg room lol

Too bad we don't smoke pictures! From my experience, I could only see them for outdoor guerrilla grows, even then I'd rather find a fast indica Dom plant and clone it for those instances.

I wish ya the best of luck with that. I'd sell the shit if I could before I'd smoke it.

hmm, my logic for doing the autos right away was that my plan is to have four plants in flowering in my 3x3, so I could start six plants and flip to 12/12 when the autos were close to being done and I wouldn't really run into problems with not having enough space that way, so if I were gonna skip the autos I wouldn't replace them with anything, and those freebies would probably sit in my drawer forever.

always been a little curious how much the ruderalis genetics affect potency. I'm guessing this lowryder cross is gonna have value for edibles and that's it.
Am I dead wrong on ruderalis affecting potency in strains that much/are they really able to isolate the autoflower trait in breeding?
I've always thought lowryder would probably suck, just because it's bred to be tiny and easy and fast.
