Where to buy THC extractor?

I tried the pop bottle . Didn't like it much.

The 1 L pop bottle sounds like it might be good but with that idea in mind i can think of some much better shaped plastic bevarage containers that i can get from the store. thanks!+reps

First off I have never heard of a Glass honey oil extractor....even the idea of it is crazy....Do you have any idea how cold that glass gets when you inject the butane? And how fast it gets that cold....It will shatter any glass extractor unless its some fucking expensive fancy tempered glass that can take instant freezing without shattering.


Copper works, but is pretty shitty because its copper.

Dont use PVC either. The Honeybee extractor is Great! Its not made of PVC, I think its actually PVE. It wont taint your product like PVC will.

There is some tutorials around the web for a turkey baster. STAINLESS STEEL turkey baster....not plastic or some cheap crap...


Just be careful...When you inject a can of butane into your extractor your dealing with HIGHLY flammable gas under extreme pressure.....Be safe, Not Sorry.

I think your wrong about pvc and butane but at this point can't prove it.
pvc is non reactive unlike the pop bottle plastic. I just talked to a chemist that figures this kind of stuff out at his job. I will try to post on this before the night is out.

Oh he says this is easy to figure out and would check into it when he gets back to his office. It's well beond my chem skills.

just talked to my chem freind. bottm line it's ok to use for honey oil. But prolonged use will result in softining of the pvc and will fail at some point. so you would not want to store or pipe butane. here is a link you can look at.

It depends on the type of PVC and the type of butane. Type 1 PVC will be the most resistant, but what are you going to use to put it together? Glue?

For the same amount of money you would waste building a PVC extractor you could either order a Honeybee, or make an extractor with better materials, like a stainless steel turkey baster.

lol going to look for a stainless baster. Just wated to point out that there is no real health risk with pvc and butane. No glue just the slip fittings. I get one mybe two runs form a set up then have to buy more parts. cost less then $3.00. I do like the turkey baster would much rather have one made from stainless

This one is done with a turkey baster. Really simple, turkey baster, coffee filters, and a hose clamp is all you need.

within the community there is a big debate as to what kind of hash is better. on the one hand many many people like "neder-hash" popularized by mila and her "ice-o-lator" process (in the states mostly it's bubble hash by the bubble man which is king. but it is all the same process so whatever...) that is where trim, plants whatever is agitated with ice and water and put through screens of decreasing sizes to give certain grades of ice extracted kief. that kief when pressed is referred to as bubble hash (though not all of if is as technically it should bubble when burnt)...

a similar but different method is dry sieving (which is the device which is in the u-tube video) that is a process which does not use water and extracts tricromes through a screen (there are different sized screens available but most people only use one per batch). the pollinator (also a mila invention) or the o-kief drum sieve is thought to yield higher quality hash as the terpenes (flavor molecules) from the herb are retained (as they are mostly water soluble), however per run there is only the one size of trichome sieved out and some people feel like this method also yields a lot of vegetable matter in the end product, and can be a bit harsh, especially if the plant was not properly flushed...

there is also butane extracted hash oil and iso hash which are processes which use a solvent (butane or isopropyl alcohol) to extract the thc from the herb... these processes are dangerous and potentially very harmful to you if not properly done (possible inhalation of poison in both cases as well as serious potential for loss of life in explosion in the case of the butane extracted hash...

as far as the drum sieving devices out there, they are expensive but worth the money if you: grow a medium to large amount, or can find someone who will give you trim to make into hash for them, plan on retailing or supplying a dispensary, or just are a bit of a hash snob... for the price you can get a washer, full set of bubble bags and all the accessories and be 20 runs deep before you hit 500$... it's up to you... but remember, as with all purchases, don't get what you'd need if you had all the money you want, space time storage you want, get for what you actually need... you may find that the one gallon set of bags is much more handy than the 20 gallon... or the 500$ pollinator, or the 1200 roor with the 12 perks and whatever... get what you need and see if it does what you want it to... just my 2cents... good luck!
