When to Transplant Seedlings

clones go from solo to 1.5 gallon to 3 gallon. FFOF here.
seeds go from r/r plugs to solo, 1.5g to 3g.

I finish in 3 gallons due to room space.

IMAG0024.jpgThese are my babies at day 13 since they poked their little heads above the soil...I am a first time grower of cannibus. Is there a general rule of thumb when to transplant to larger containers? also how long should the veg period be? I have been growing vegetables and plants for years but I find this can be a bit tricky...Or so I hear...So far I have not encountered one problem at all. I research a lot of sites on the internet and find all the information, not only contradicting but confusing as well. I don't think this is doing too bad for the first time I've grown it. I am using tomato techniques as well as my own mix of cretaceous earth, coconut husk, worm castings, perlite and topsoil mix and have fertilized twice with Jurassic Veg booster 12-60-0 so far.

After sifting through youtube vids and websites I have found all the information a lot more confusing then it has to be. Is there a rule of thumb when to transplant to larger pots? So far I have been growing them as I would indoor tomatoes. In my own mix of peat moss, crustaceaus earth, perlite, worm castings, coconut husk and top soil. and fertilizing right now with Jurassic Veg-Boost 12-60-0. I am growing under 14 cfl lights and 4 tube lighting.

There is no hard-and-fast rule about when to transplant.

Some argue to plant into the final container and not transplant at all.

Others like to see a growth explosion after transplants.

Good luck,

I agree you want as little stress to the plant as possible. Ridiculous keep planting them over again total waste of time in my opinion

Wrong. You can plant in the final pot from seed if you want! There is ZERO downside to starting in your final pot! Less hastle, no transplant shock, no root bound mess! If you really want to let them rip, plant them in Geopots!
