when to stop nutrients

I'm guessing my plant has about 3-5 more weeks left. I wanta cut the nutrients out 2 weeks before harvest, but I'm not exactly sure when that will be. Does anyone know how to tell when she is 2 weeks from harvest? How much longer do you think I can keep feeding her for?

I feed up until the plant is harvested. As harvest gets closer, most strains need less. I do back off on them, but the goal is to keep the green until harvest. Fades can look great but the plant can only keep flowering with its leaves at optimum efficiency with the wonders of chlorophyll. Cut back too soon, and you are cutting into the best you can do with a strain. Every plant is different, it's trial and error at learning how to read your plants.

What nutrients do you use? Two weeks sounds a little long to me. I'd shoot for 10 days. If you underestimate and harvest less than 7 days, you could use a flush additive like GH FloraKleen to accelerate the flush.

I've never used a flush additive. But, that was my plan when I was new and faced the same uncertainty. In my case, I always started too soon and did 2-weeks. I suspect you'll do the same thing.

A lot of people here advocate no flush nor water-only "cleanse" feeding. Don't be afraid to try that. I just did my first "feed to the end" and it's good. I'm not sold yet. I think it might be a little sharper. But, it's definitely not harsh like street weed. I suggest you shoot for 1-2 water-only waterings before harvest and not worry about it. After you develop an eye for how far you are from harvest, you could experiment with longer water-only "cleanse" to see how it compares.

Wow, a pound? Your really think so? I'm using Fox Farm nutrients, the buds are growing, but still kinda small, I feel like they still have alot of growing to do if she is gna give anything close to a pound

I don't now, I was just going by the feeding schedule.... I also forgot to mention I'm growing her with cfls. I hope that doesn't make too much of a diffrance, doesn't seem to have made a diffrance so far

The feeding schedule sold with nutes won't help you grow your plants to the fullest. You must learn your girls, and tell when they should be feed, how much and how often. Less is usually more. You should be able to tell if there is a deficiency, but if you use a well balanced fertilizer or make your own organic grow, deficiencies should be few and far between.

If the leaves are brittle and glossy green, you should back off the nutes, otherwise there's no need to reduce the nutes.

Like @TonightYou is saying, the plants take up very little nutes and water in the last 2 weeks of life anyway, so you can back off the nutes then slightly.

Thanks for the info, I'm gna wait till the very end to back off... now I just gotta figure out when that is lol. I hope you guys are right, even If I only get half a pound I would be stoked
