When to move plants to biggers pots

I was wondering when i should transplant my seedlings from small pots to larger pots? I have 8 in soil under 200w cfl light 18-6 hours for the past 4 days, Im also not sure when to start feeding nutrients (root booster) and how much they should get fed and how often? These are fem seeds of lemon haze and liberty haze. They currently stand at 2-3 inches and are going to go under 600w hps and 200w cfl soon. If anyone could help would be greatly appreciated.

One question always leads to several others.

Thanks in advance.

Wait until the roots are showing at the bottom of small pots before up planting, what nutes u using? I use biobizz and start the grow nute from week 2 from when it pops above soil,

Also a 200w cfl is barely enough for 1 plant nevermind 8 get ur 600hps in there asap

What kind of pots r u using? What size? If they are standard just pull the whole plant out when the soil is dry and check on root growth. Sometimes, roots showing at the bottom may not be enough of an indication, particularly with sativa dominate strains as they tend to have dramatic, vertical root growth by comparison to Indica doms. If you pull your plant out of its container you can observe precisely how developed your root system is. With seedlings I would wait until you have at least three or four nodes before worrying about root mass or transplanting- unless other problems arise. :peace:

For the now im using 300 ml plastic pots but will be moving them to 5-6 litre pots next week when I start nutes and turn the full power of lights on which is 600w hps and 200w cfl. Heat issues are preventing me from putting the 600w hps on at the moment. The root is not fully formed yet.

Wot medium r u using if it's biobizz allmix u will have to hold off on the nuits as that has plenty to last u for at least 3weeks

Depends on strain m8, im in allmix and some strains need a little grow nute after 1 and half - 2 weeks, especially some of the clone onlys, but a few high N dependent seed strains are the same

im gona double check what nutes i have along with a couple of pics, strains i have at the moment are pineapple chunk, s lemonhaze, tangerine dream, liberty haze, og kush, vanilla kush and 2 free seeds (names forgotten) at 8-10 days old (from seed).
This is my second grow, first grow was a bit of a joke over 18 months ago but still pulled through. I done a 250w grow in a wardrobe (actual double wardrobe in my bedroom under hps lights in soil and managed to squeeze 6 plants in. Long story short got 4 ounces if lucky and missed alot of tricks, the smoke was ranging from decent and two tasted amazing (chernobyl and dairy queen) from tga seeds.

I went to amsterdam again recently and decided that due to crap supply/dealers il have to do it myself.
Im located not too far from paradise (parkhead) and look forward to follow your progress guys.

they will shoot once they hit the real lighting,i would put them on the out skirts of the light for a few days before putting em direct under the lights,if they was clones i would just chuck them in the steam room but seeds i like them to get used to the heat first
