When Is A Clone Legally Considered A Plant?

Is it from the time they are cut or when they are showing roots? Does anyone know of any court cases that addressed this issue?

cops can twist anything, but no roots = no plant. you get a possession charge.

no way dude. there is no way you could intend to do anything with a clone besides cultivate it. it never stops being a plant.

If I'm not mistaken, in Colorado a plant is material that can "Thrive" on it's own. Basically if it has a root, stem and leaf, it's a plant.
A cutting is not a plant and should only count as weight.

If the clone is withing its own medium, it's considered a plant by the law. No way around it.

a friend of mine just got popped. if a clone does not have roots they dont consider it a plant. but I guess it all depends on how big of assholes the cops want to be.
