When does outdoor flowering begin?

I'm in Nor Cal and my outside one is doing her pre-flower thing now. She's in a pot. I'm wondering when to start her on bloom food.

i do have tiny sparkles on my leaves when their in the light and i trashbagged it for one night a long time ago so its had some tiny hairs at the nodes ever since but nothing more.i just want to know when i will start getting bud formations.i have no clue what strain this is

if you dont know when your plants are going to start flowering, you should probably do some research online and see when your days start to shorten. best and most reliable time to tell when your plants are going to start flowering in your specific locale is so darn simple anyone can do it. LOOK AT THE DAMN THING and see if it has flower pistles starting to show.

l live in northern california at 4300 feet in the triangle and ive got plants that have started flowering now, some that are a couple weeks along and some that started flowering a month ago. theres no "set time" on when a plants going to start flowering. some require 12/12 lighting, some start to flower when it gets to around 15 hours of light a day, some dont start until we get 11 hours day. just look at your plants. when you se pistles showing, its flowering. no set "8 weeks" either. you havest when the trichs get right. ive had 10 week plants take 6-7 weeks, and 8 week plants take 12 weeks.

best be ready though and start watching the weather for your area everyday now. were going to have an early and hard winter with early freezes this year, and if you dont put them in or cover them before it hits yull loose your shit

Yes I do if you are growing outdoors without a greenhouse or any other way of artficially changing the amount of light per day the days will have 12 hours of light on or around September 22 which will give you 12 hours of dark. 12/12 the plant will begin to flower at this time if the seed says it will take 8 weeks to finish then you have 8 weeks from the day the lighting went to 12/12 this can be manipulated any way you want with dark blankets or dark plastic bags but naturally they will flower when the days go to 12/12 September 22 or 23 depending on your location. When you planted has no bearing on when they will begin to flower the light is the determining factor on when a plant will flower. The above post by nathenking is by far the best post on this topic I have seen I just sent you the " By the book" solution but nathenking is telling you from his experience which is much more valuable than by the book advice.

I'm not too far from Ohio and mine are starting to flower now. Be patient it'll happen before you know it.

Might see some preflowers around the end of july or early august, but won't start to take off till mid to late august. Thats in my neck of the woods though.

Different strains from all areas of the earth do not grow the same just because they are in the same garden. Get what I mean? If you are growing an equatorial strain, where the days are longer, the plant genetics will be different that a strain grown in the extreme north & south. Genetics do not change overnight. When the seed is distributed to the world you have to abide by the schedule of where the strain originated from.

Thought that up all by myself!

Well for what its worth this is the first thread google pops up with and an fyi im in va and i started showing sexing signs about a week ago

Same here.. about 45 mins S of FF.. have planted on 2-18 flowering began say 3-5 weeks ago.. really I see them daily HOURLY mind ya..

I have to look at mine from 7 days back to see if they are even chugging along

(had a few clones who wanted to flower back 3 mo's ago).. my Carm is a whore.. she wants to slut around with anything and all that move,. she began flowering as a clone say 7 weeks ago re vegged her a bit replanted her and she will grow..
