When do you know when you should top feed?

Just curious what everyone's methods are when it comes to top feeding with super soil. Its been ten years since I've grown so I'm having some trouble recognizing if my plants are going to need an extra boost. Here are some pictures and a video. Thanks for any advice.

I top dress about 25-30 days into bloom unless the plant was in extended veg time then I may Top shortly after entering flowering.

Thanks for the tip Sub. You do veg. longer than the norm correct? 60 days is what I thought I read awhile back. I vegged just about 40 days. Looking at my plants do you think I am even going to need to top them off? The tallest cola is only 24 inches right now, they aren't too tall but they are pretty wide from my topping and LSTing. Thanks again man.
