When do I start final flush

my seeds said 62 days on the bag so I wonderd do I start flushing them after day 62 or up until day 62 ? I am on day 40 of flower with all 4 strains plus my mid to lower flowers are not developed like the top canopy yet I don't know if the light is reaching there as much so my next question is can I start removing big fan leaves from the top yet or will this damage my best giant buds at top ?.

I never flush anymore. Just let them do their thing. And go by your trichromes not by what the seeds say. Some finish sooner while some finish later. So get a loop and check them.

Thank you i am going to do that and correct me if I am wrong but I should look for cloudy trics and maybe some ambering a little ?
Yah that's when I harvest. When they're cloudy and a few start turning just a bit amber but that's me and my preference. Everyone is different just like on the flushing issue. And when I'm done and chopped everything I just get the fan leaves off and lay them in brown paper bags and dry in those. It makes the drying process much more simple then after a week I trim them up and make them nice and pretty throw them in jars with boveda packs and let them cure.

I second the no flushing. She puts on weight in those last few weeks, keep her healthy. I also don't defoliate but I do top.
How orange are the hairs? On most of the indicas I have grown, they are ready 2-4 weeks after most of the hairs are orange.
But this will vary from strain to strain. Also, many on here will harvest in stages. Take the buds when they are ready, and give the smaller stuff a week or two to finish. I do not do this so I can offer no advice. Use search function and you'll find lots of info.
A loupe is definitely handy in the beginning.

When I started, I would harvest at 5-10% amber. I have started going a little earlier, when I see mostly cloudy and an occasional amber. Depends on what you like.
Good Luck and happy smokin'.

And no I generally use super soil anymore so if I think they need anything I throw some new fresh soil on top and water. Other than that I use mammoth p and great white up til the last week.
Oh

the top buds on my widow X haze have just started getting orange hairs but the blue og has none but is very white and is directly under the led , the different parts of the canopy where the hps lights mix with the led are making the buds seem different even with same strains :/ but yes I suppose I need a loop 1000 0/0 so I do not over or under them

You should only flush after you go to the bathroom its pure stoner myth. Why deprive nutes for production? 1 week of pure water is not going to do anything to the months of buildup in a plant. It will just make your buds a wee bit smaller than they could have been.

Do they bulk up on their own in the final weeks without changing any regime ? Ps thanks
again, no flushing.. dumping water through a medium such as soil does nothing to the taste or burn of the buds we smoke..
yes, the calyx will plump up a bunch on the last week or so, usually a good indicator that they're getting close to being done.. also, i wait until not only have the hairs all turned color, but i also wait for them to all recede back into the bud before i think about chopping..

Good Advice^^^^^^^ I don't use nutes anymore so I forgot, lol.

Yes. I found it handy to take some pics every few days. That way you can see the difference.
I know the first time can be overwhelming. But you must be doing okay, they are alive.
You should see some of the plants that show up on here, lol.
Don't sweat it, keep us posted!

Are you aiming for higher CBD levels?

so there is no chemical taste in bud without draining the nutes in the end ? And bulking does have nothing to do with imatating the end of the summer time ?
