That's why its called an average, read any book or talk to any grower. The average yield for indoor is 1 to 3 zips. Of choose there is a high side and low side. I just don't buy the 8 to 12 oz dry.
i am any grower... i dont need a book to tell me different situations, techniques, strains, veg times, etc etc, are going to give you different yields. not to mention none of those books even touch dwc.

im looking for an individuals avg yield per plant. not the general populations avg yield combing all techniques, strains, veg times etc. and specifically for dwc yields. this isnt to hard to understand.

I get about 7 - 10 Oz dry per plant under 400W, which is still only 0.5g - 0.7g/W

I agree with that, however...looking at the guy who claims 8 to 12 oz per plants, pictures. Its not possible, infact its a joke. if anyone believes that they have never grown cannabis....that's all I'm saying..

nice, Meta! ive always liked the idea of a perpetual grow, but on a rdwc system you always have to sacrifice, by having the same nute regiment no matter what stage you are in. i find that limiting. i want to max every strain wich is why i only grow out 1 strain at a time. im on a monthly cycle, or about to be anyway. i have a veg room which i use for a month and a flower room that will have 2 8 light 44 bucket systems in it. that way i can havrvest every month and still max out each individual strain.
Actually, it's three seperate 3pot + control bucket RDWC setups...one for every 3 plant set in flower...that way I can tailor the nute regiment to those plants specifically.

you have 1 plant per light with 1 in between the lights right? so 3 per 2 lights, is that right? what wattage are the lights?

ive been growing for about 3 years now. ive done hydro in flood tables with hydroton, ive done coco, ive done soil, and now im doing rdwc.
ive yielded 4oz per plant in soil bro. i use to get 14 to 20 grams per plant on plants that i would just let root and then immediately flower! ak 47 from serious seeds, try them. ive never had plants so huge so fast with such thick stems and branches, leaves bigger then my head! ive never seen a plant perform like this before. i have no doubt ill be getting close to or even better than 6 oz per plant. and this is my first try and i had serious issues the first 4 weeks were my plants grew about 6inches the entire first month and had no root mass. my fuck up. but once i got shit dialed in these bad boys fucking took off! ill be shooting for 1g/w on this next grow for sure. thats over 8oz per plant man. like everyone else has said, veg time is the biggest factor in gaining yields. veg longer and youll no longer have a 1 to 3 oz avg yield... thats probably under 600s too. i use 1000s so expect at least a lb per light no matter the medium/style

Two plants (roughly) per light with one in between each light. 2 x 400w hps, 1 x 400w mh for flower. Vegged 3 weeks under CFLs

great numbers man! i checked out your grow, looks awesome. i could tell you were using 4 lights. what size are they? looks like 3 plants per 2 1000s. is that rigth? how long are you vegging them beforre the flip? are you super cropping or anything?
Hey budherder....

I use 4 1000w HPS.....for six plants... I would grow more but the state I live in says I can only have six plants over 12"....This strain has to veg for at least six weeks or the yield will be low....I am not super cropping.....all I do is cut a few leaves off here and there........nitro....

even with a half a gram per watt average youd be getting 4 oz's + per plant ( 4 plants seems to work best under a 1000w in dwc)
I'm going for (6 plants vertical donut under 1,200 watts) X 2. So that's 12 plants under 2,400 watts. I may expand to 3,600 watts w/my 2 donuts next year. Going for big shrubs or small trees, 5 gallon buckets & 8 weeks veg. Also next year might swap out 5 gallon buckets for 12 gallon Igloo coolers. Best or bust.

Are we in the twilight zone? Do you have pictures of these plants that produce such massive yields?
Twilight zone?! Doubleds pulls 4 lb plants indoors, and in no means is he alone in that regard. I have a ton of links w/pics and proof. There's a difference in numbers between grams/watt and zips per plant btw. For one thing these growers are using MASSIVE watts per plant, like 1-3,000. Doubleds also going for a 10 lb plant I'm reading up on.
