What's wrong with these plants?

You can mix it with Pro-Mix HP. I do 60% Pro-Mix, 20% Kellogg Patio Plus potting soil, 20% Perlite. 2 Tbsp/gal dolomite lime (fine flour consistency, not pellets.).
My only problem is I don't know what the hell to do with 20 gallons of soil when I'm done... Plus my grow tent is already set up for Hempy Buckets so I'd have to change my drain pans and all that.

^^^ those are over a month old?
The 2 with more layers of leaves are almost 2 months old, but they had some problems when I first started them that they took a while to recover from.

The 2 with only a couple sets of leaves are about 11 days old and they're a little slow but they're catching up.

Basically the problem was a bunch of people on another forum told me to not feed yet and that was horrible advice... My plants were starving for nutes

Ahhh
I see
Well im glad you got it sorted out.
I was told yrs ago by a ganja guru that as soon as the roots are shooting out of the rockwell u can start feeding at 10% strenght and add 10% every other week.

This shit is alot of trial and error tho so live n learn right.

Good luck man hope it pays u back and surprises ya

You could try doing a post in the general grow room idea thread or go straight to the hydro guys
I think most the hydro guys have similar setups u might not even need to start a thread just loom at setups similar to what u plan

Well my problem is that my nute mixing tank is only 16" off the ground, so I can't gravity feed the water into my hempy buckets. I need a pump. But I need to have a valve that I can turn off the water, but if the pump keeps pumping then it's just gonna build pressure in the hose. So I need a setup so as soon as I shut the valve, the pump shuts off, and turns back on when I open the valve again.

Or put the pump on its own timer. U can set it to pump for a few mins every hour.

Even those cheap old school timers can be set for that.

I was planning to water manually though because the extra pipe and all that to make it auto watering would be a pain in the ass to flush out. I might just use 1 gallon jugs to water, and that avoids so many possible points of failure.

Once you did some tweaking it wouldnt be that complicated.
I thought thats what u wanted to plumb my bad.

Hand watering is safe but a pain in the ass cus u are always babysitting.

Pros and cons to both

Now that I think about it... Yeah, I'm gonna plumb it up. I think it'll be way easier in the long run. I'll post a grow journal when I'm ready to start building that.

My plumbing is actually gonna be pretty technical with timers and meters and stuff (I do electronics engineering as a hobby). Would people on the forum be interested in that?

My babies are LOVING the nutrients! The top leaves are growing way bigger than the bottom leaves, and they are darkening up very well!

EDIT: I just checked on them and I can SEE the growth from just a few hours! They finally hit that "explosive growth" stage! I think it's time to start a grow journal and show you guys my setup!

Okay, so my plants are looking much better and are now under the HPS, but one has some little spots developing on the leaves.

They did get watered with some water that was a little low in pH, so could that be the problem?

Need photos in natural light. The spots could be water droplets on the leaves which magnified strong light, burning the leaves? I can't tell though because of the color imbalance.

Yeah, I figured that would be a problem. I just didn't wanna turn off my HPS for too long. Turns out the thing can re-spark pretty quick.

It looks like water on the leaves (light burn). Could be something else like a fungus or pest. But, I don't think it's a deficiency or anything ph related.

I've had ph swings cause bleached square blocks. It was more white or cream, and more like pigment loss. See these pics. (<< link) Yours looks more burned and round. The leaf on the left doesn't quite fit the beading of water, but it could have been a wet edge.
