What's the future for compassion clubs ?

I haven't read much about the future for compassion clubs since the injunction. I have used several here in Ontario.
Are they still able to operate or is the fuzz going to shut em down.
Every time I was at one they seemed pretty busy. I found the two Toronto clubs to be over priced but the London club is quite fair I'd say. They are now $6 bucks a gram.
Their meds were always very nice IMO.
Who else has experience with the clubs across the country.
Would they have shut down if the injunction wasn't granted? Will they close in the future?
Basically they were doing the same thing these new LP's are trying to get going. What was wrong with that system?
I think at this point they are all operating.
Any info added to this discussion is appreciated.

I went and picked up some meds at the local one here last week (we only have 1). Their product has always been hit or miss, sometimes I find some real nice stuff, other times they don't seem to offer anything but shitty kush strains. That being said I got some real nice voodoo x blue cheese and some amazing hempstar for the day, mid level rock star for the evening. Prices usually range from 7-10 bucks depending on strain. They never seem to have hash though which sucks, just edibles/butter/honey and tinctures. I imagine the clubs will be ok for a while, at least until all the court matters are sorted out and we see what the medical marijuana program actually becomes.

From my experiences the dispensaries down on the west coast, they are happy with all the exposure the mmpr and trials have brung to the movement... the one place has 5000 members with 4 locations and line ups out the door! :D it really is quite the experience if you ever get the chance get down there! Over 30 currently running locations to serve you some of the best medicine in the world!

Security clearance for compassion clubs is pretty tough right now.
First off, you have to have no criminal record.
Secondly, it says right in the regulations that they can deny your application if they believe you are associated with someone who may circumvent the law.

MMPR Regulations Section 26 said:
(e)information received from a peace officer, a competent authority or the United Nations raises reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant has been involved in the diversion of a controlled substance or precursor to an illicit market or use;
