What's The First Strain You Grew?

the questions in the name.so what was it? Howd it turn out for you?

My first was blueberryXnorthern lights. used a 1000w light, all organic.yielded about 1 3/4 p. cloned it ran it again. god my friends and i smoked like it was going out of style!!i still cant stand the flavor of blueberry herb to this day!!lol.the herb turned out beautiful.with your first grow everyday is like christmas morning runnin down there all excited to see how they look.shit i was down there so much it was silly. this was the beginning of a passion that will last a lifetime. well feel free to post pics or stories about your cherry popper. peace

mine was Pyramids Northern Lights...it sucked bad i didnt like anything about it whatsoever.have done Motovation and cloned it 3 times, i have done Chronic and currently BlueHell

My first grow was bag seed, and 2 Barneys 'Farms LSD. I still have a clone of one of them LSD plants (the more heavy yeilder) It has a very nice musky lemon pine smell with fat nugs. Got around 4Oz off each, and 1/4oz of bubble hash from the clippings. Went so good, im still growin..

First grow I used 90% FF Ocean Forest with 10% Perlite for my medium, and Earth Juice Nutes (Grow, Bloom, Meta-K, and Microblast)

now I use:

Seedlings: 90% FF Light Warrior, 10% Perlite
for Veg: 40/40/10 - Pro-Mix Bx/FF Ocean Forest/Perlite
for Clones: 90% Pro-mix Bx, 10% Perlite
For flowering; 40/40/10 - Pro-Mix Bx/FF Happy Frog/Perlite
Nutes Used: Roots Organics Master Feed Schedule

First attempt was bagseed my bro got me, they died or just didnt pop, the seeds that did germ suffered from a bunch of ailments and only about 2-3 plants survived outdoors out of maybe 10-11. they got eaten by deer or got fried or malnutrition. I ended up growin out Some TGA Vortex clones successfully, about 2 months veg and i trained them into bush, i still love them till today but the yield was average, around 6 zips worth. lasted me about 3-4 months after smoking it almost every day i ended up getting strong tolerance the strain and moved on to some northern and shiva shanti clones that yielded like i'd never seen.

First was bagasse outdoors got about a quarter pound but I didn't know much but once I did know a little bit I grew white widow indoors and that gave me a qp indoors under a 400./

a bagseed cross i made and ran for ten years... before i knew about buying beans, internet grow forums, or the like.

i still have seeds of this strain & made a run last summer ...for old time sake.

Mine was bag seed 17 years ago on mu window sill. Obviously was a tall skinny plant and had no idea what I was doing so never got to the flower stage. Now I have my first proper grow on with Pineapple Express and NL auto (freebie from the attitude). We'll see how this goes.,...

First grow was Jamician bagseed outdoors. Still can see the plants in my mind, not the most beautiful compared to today but still my proudest crop in 1968. I grew out the plants pollinated some and used these seeds for a gene pool I used until 2007 when someone stole every last seed and all of my stash. Started anew in 2008 with some strains from Sannie's and enjoying the change in genetics.

My first two seeds I popped were bagseed from the best smoke I'd bought in years. But my cat ate the seedlings before they even made their first set of true leaves.

Shortly after, I child-proofed my cabinet and popped a couple more of the same. I've kept one of them over the years, she's a very fast growing, good producer, the hardiest plant I've ever grown, and is one of the most potent strains I've grown too.

My first non-bagseed strain was Kali Mist by Serious Seeds, my absolute favorite strain. I popped 10 seeds, and kept the best female and male. Though I still haven't done it, I intend to cross the Kali Mist male with other strains when I eventually move into a bigger space.

My first was DP Cali O and a strain called Buddha (can't find info on it now, and don't even remember who the breeder was). Grew them under two 150w hps, and it worked out really well. I enjoyed the Cali O more than the Buddha, but I was glad to have nearly 3 oz of each in the end, since I hadn't really toked in many years and had no connections to buy any bud at all.

Bagseed sativa it was so smelly and it didn't even bud b4 i pulled it either, i thought you smoked the leaves anyway (what?.. i was 14), that question just made me realize I've been growing a lil' more than 22 yrs. DAMN!! @ 15yrs old i grew some bomb ass shit a (bagseed) it had wide indica leaves, and P.H.A.T.,crystally buds smelled like a str8 up skunk was in the neighborhood, i harvested by late sept. my friends and family still talk about that high to this day!

my first was bc kush we picked up a clone from a mmed patient that a friend knew. used a heat lamp and an incandescent bulb. used shitty dirt from an unused flower bed. Tap water and miricale grow. yeilded 1/4oz. good enough smoke considering what a shitty life the plant was given. this too, was the beginning of a passion that will last a lifetime.

thanks everyone for chiming in. esp those of you who have been fightin the good fight for 10+ yrs. i have been reflectin a lot lately on past grows i was suprised as well its already been so many years.

Barneys Farm LSD. It grew easy, and my NOOB self over waterd, had the room too hot and completely created a stressful place to grow. However the Barneys Farm LSD seemed to love abuse. It came through like a champ. Heavy yeilder. Not my favorite smoke, but it was potent. Little trippy and I don't remember any euphoria just super stoney and a bit trippy. I'd highly recommend this for someones first grow just because you can make mistakes with it and still yield big weed.

lol no thanks on the blXnl cuts. i really am still not into those! i have since ran dj shorts blueberry and while just like the blXnl it was an enjoyable plant to grow i barely smoked it! and there is no longer any blueberry in my stable. the only ones that have stood the test of time is g13 and sour d. however there have been a few i wish i still had, african sudaneseXblueberryXchronic(top notch from a private breeder in CO, met at a show) shishkaberry, and a hawaiin haze that was a mango tropical freak.

My first grow was some bag seeds back when I was a teenager. Grew it in my closet in my bedroom under a 400w hps. I knew shit abotu growing at the time, didn't pay attention to temps, humidity, airflow, ph, nothing. Was using some bullshit miracle grow powder with some cheapass potting soil. It was summer time also and my room was like a goddamn sauna. Ended up getting like 2 zips off a 30 inch plant and it was horrible. Think I harvested too early because it literally dried into some fluffy crap like overnight and was probably one of the worst smokes I ever had. Haha good times.

My first was a local to my area clone only named "PowerGreen", I was growing with/for a friend with his gear/plants in my place so strain choices were all his, all I did at that time was look after everything and learn how to grow from it but the taste/smell/high of that strain will stay with me forever, I wish I had a camera at the time cos those plants were gorgeous. The really sad thing is the mother was lost so I can never get it again, but I'm havin so much fun now trying to get through as many more strains as I can since that very first one.

i'll tell you what... i have a cut of "houston shoreline" running up a one gallon container ...this plant is pretty pretty.

i think i'll pimp her on the RIU stage for all to see... stocking & heels & such.

Anyone in the NW know what happened to that? We sent it up to Seattle years ago.
