I've had mix feed back on Jungle Juice from customer, ok to not so good. The JJ is supposedly a copy of GH's 3 part. Which is kinda funny coming from a company that say their stuff is the best so why copy and sell an inferior product?

Anyways both will do just fine it pro mix. The ph balance inside the media in more important then the "ph perfect" when mixing your nutrients.

I called my man Mike and he said they are discontinuing jungle juice. In fact, they are discontinuing ALL non-PH-Perfect base lines. Look on the web site. Why?
Because the PH-Perfect works and the other ingredients incorporated in them only adds to improving growth. Take it or leave it. For me Sensi is the shit and I don't care what some of these trolls on here think about that but you, yourself have to decide. I get 1 gal Sensi for ~70$ and it kicks ass in pro-mix

Whose a troll? I own a hydro store and I sell AN sensi food 10L once every month (maybe) I sell some 4L Bud Candy and Big Bud. No one buys their three part or JJ. I have 24L sets of JJ and I couldn't even give it away lol. On the other hand I sell about 40 24L sets of gh every 5 weeks and sells tons of Nova bloom and grow. I don't make shit up I'm telling you what its like for the majority of growers.

If JJ was a copy of GH why are they not selling it anymore? Oh because they gave out more in sample vs what they sold to stores. No one discontinues a product line unless it loosing money.

Didn't direct the troll statement toward you. Sorry. I remember way back JJ was made in retaliation for the Sun Systems forced boycott on AN. In any case. If JJ is a duplicate why do people perceive it as inferior? If it has the same ingredients and ratios WTF? Placebo effect imo. It contradicts what traditional growers say: that a chem is a chem. I've talked to hydro owners and many say AN sells well. What demographic are you in? I would take Sensi over anything, especially GH. It's WAY overpriced. 100$ for gal set of 3-part? No fulvic/humics/amino's/ surfactant/PH-Per/chelated everything not included? Damn.

So they discontinue JJ and provide a PH-Perfect line of the same. Maybe you are right that they didn't sell well. OK, lets see how the 3-part PH-Perfect sells. I know for a fact that the average Hydro store shill will steer a customer to the product where more profit is to be had. Is your profit margin better with AN or GH ? Just wondering.

I'm with you on that BROBIE.
And, I know the store I frequent(the biggest around) sells ALLOT of the JJ 3part. But, I doubt as much as the original: GH's floraseries.
It actually pisses me off now, when I go to get a 6gal of some JJ micro and/or the bloom, and they're out of it. Leaving me no choice but to buy GH's. JJ is cheaper, and works just as well as the floraseries, period.
This is coming from a guy who has used GH more than anything else(by far), for more than 2 decades. But, i'll probably be switching it back up to maxi-series, as soon as I run out of both the micro and the bloom, at the very same time. Always seems hard to do:-D
**edit:
Actually I haven't really made up my mind yet. Def going back to a 1part for a bit though. It's either gonna be: CNS17, maxi-series, or floranova. They all work fantastic, and yet, each has some pros and cons.
Decisions, Decisions!

Because no one I know ever did better with JJ than with GH and this is coming from guys who know AN and got tons of samples for free. Besides its just salts. Changing food is not going to make you a better grower, knowing how to grow your strain will make you a better gardener.

How do you know its the same ingredients? Because AN said so?

It contradicts what traditional growers say: that a chem is a chem.
Then how come farms don't use AN? After all its a superior product.

I've talked to hydro owners and many say AN sells well.
Sure the ones that push AN to suck out more money out of the pockets of its customers.

I don't have the cost in front of me as I'm not at work but for the few extra bucks you might pay for the GH GBM set you're gonna get raped on the additives from AN.

No I don't steer people to more profitable products I steer them to products I know to work. It doesn't matter what you want your profit margins to be, your profit margin is going to be dictated by how many hydro stores are in your area and what the current market price for your customers products are, if you act like a normal retail store charging 100% mark up you wont last long unless you but fuck no where and there are no other hydro stores around. I have some customers that get 15-20% over my cost as that's the deals I made with them to shop with me and not other stores and there are customers that pay 35% over cost.

I'm not going to try and
stick up for anyone here, but from mine and many other peoples experience with the JJ 3part compared to GH's = zero difference.
Besides possibly some additional Mg, nothing else is needed with the JJ(just like the floraseries) Same shit!

Have you guys tried the PH-Perf 3-part? I have not . I do use Sensi and it kicks ass for me. That's all I'm saying. I get it for 70$, 30$ cheaper than GH with more in it and no need for cal-mag. My argument was everyone on other posts were ragging on AN for creating a copy-cat product yet isn't salt a salt so how can it be inferior? Reason: Biased HATE

So now it's a crime to make money? How do you make a living? I bet I can find all kinds of ripoff shit in your hydro store and you will sell it to people because you need to make a living too. Lighting maybe? Bullshit soils? He who casts the first stone...... it's like environmentalists, fly in on your lear jets and preach tree hugging. lol

I carry GH, AN, Canna Substra, Botanicare, Grotek and Nutrilife. Sales wise GH, Grotek, Botanicare, Nutrlifelife then AN. I make same margins on AN like every other product line except it costs me 3x more to spend on it vs other manufacturers.

Let me break down my rip off prices vs what I pay for the products.

HPS bulbs cost $23.10 sell $31 I Don't carry any bulb but Sylvania and only order Hortilux and anything else if the customer wants it (get it same same or next morning). No need to spend 2-3x the price for a bulb.
1000W SG Lite ballasts (Boxes switchable) cost $80 sell 105
Gavita Digistar 1000w cost $170 sell $200
Pro Mix cost 24.90 sell $27.50-28.50
Sunshine #4 cost 22.50 sell $24.50-26.50
Pro Terra cost $24 sell $26.50

So last time I looked there were no BS products in my store. As for what other stores do, that's none of my business I run my store the way I want to run it.

Ok lets do a basic cost break down. Since were talking about GH and AN we'll do that break down

GH 4L

Gro/Bloom/Micro
Flora Nectar
Armor SI
Kool Bloom Liquid

24L of liquid total

Total cost $243.54 after tax

AN 4L

Sensi A+B Bloom
Carbo Load Liquid
Rhino Skin
Big Bud Liquid

20L liters of liquid total.

Total cost $376.84 That does't include you having to buy another Sensi Bloom set.

These prices are based on 20% off which is what I normally sell vs the MSRP which is usually double the price but I will sell products for whatever price I need to do (with out selling at cost) to have that customer shop with me.

So you sell 10-15% above cost.... I call bullshit. No sense even continuing this convo.
