What's the best way to germ an auto??

Hey all I'm the winner of the 20 black jack autos from the vault and was wondering what the best way to germ them is. I got sphagnum peat moss pucks with domes. Or the paper towel method. I've also germ in just a cup of water. Also I have some b52 should I use that??also there going outside but I have a mini box to start my seeds in should i use 2 23watt CFLs @6500k or 1 23w@6500k and 1 14w @2700k?

Best way to geminate autos is in the cubes. IE root riot cubes. Don't use paper towels as the transfer will shock your plant and not 100% to work by far. Autos have a short life span and is best to keep them from any sort of shock if possible. I use riot cubes they are amazing every seed I put in it grows. I have even done chilly seeds and every one has grown but the chilly seeds took about a week and half. Most my beens I planted from packet and next day it had grown its first two leaves. I planted in final pots and just give little water n root juce around the plant until the roots anfd plant was big enough. Can't beat from packed to first two leaves in 24 hours. Or you can just pop seeds straight into your medium probably be just as successful as paper towels or more then.

But i can say that i started all mine in paper towels then to solo cups and then to 5gal without stunting at all. I dont recomend it unless u are very careful. My think big lost 1inch off her taproot day 8 but didnt stunt it at all!!!

Yes that's cool just going on all the information I have read up on growing autos as I'm new to them. I personally can't get seeds to germ in paper that's why I got the cubes and seeing the results of them I would advise anyone to do so but if you can do it like that and be careful then go ahead it will save you money

First auto for me but I also got 3 blackberry Kush autos..

The best way is to plant straight to final pot.

Cannabis growers and fifth graders are the only ones to use paper towels.

A tap root has many very fine roots. Hair like. The more you handle it and the more steps, the greater the chance of damage. That damage can allow bacteria and pathogens in.

The tap root also is the flowering mechanism for autos. Using cups, small out, cubes, or plugs can cause reduced yield.

I plant mine straight to five- seven gallon.

Make sure you keep them in the paper towel in a dark area at room temp for 2-3 days.
Also, sweet seeds? Nice! I meant to order a 3 pack of dark devil but somehow forgot.

Why use the paper towel?

It is a seed. One that grows most places on earth.

I just don't get it. It doesn't save time. A couple days in a paper towel and then a couple more to break dirt.

Most every seed I put in soil is up in the same amount of time.

Paper towels increase the chance of damping off.

Why do it? Do what makes you happy and I'm not knocking it. I just don't get why.

As a noob, I find starting in smaller size pots helps with watering. It's easier to not overwater in the smaller containers and doens't take up as much space at the younger stages. My personal experience

Put the seeds in a paper towel. Then put them in a red cup. Then plant the fuckers in their final pot and be done with it. I use 1 gallon grow bags for my final pots Been growing autos for a while now. lol

It works just fine. I've started making my own "red cups" out of newspaper. When I transplant these, I just rip the bottoms out and plant paper and all. No disturbing of the roots. Works great.

I'm doing a lil breeding and have 4 autos growing in 2 10 gallon totes. Yep 8 autos growing in a 2'x3' tub.

How are you breeding?
Colloidal silver via female x female or males autos x female autos

Also what size lights do.u use those are some rather nice sized plants for 1 gal!!!

I use homemade CS or TMist. All fem autos. 600 hps.

Like a non auto seed? Seed wise it's no different
